Every time it rains, I am so thankful to Craig Kripas and All About Waterproofing. I spent the year after I moved into my house dreading rain and having to mop my basement. They fixed my problem and didn't try to upsell me. And now, even though it's 5 years later, I can relax when it rains!

First of all I don't know any contractor who would do a sloppy job like this . So I'm guessing the seller use this company for waterproofing to the basement. They ripped up the floors and wall to do the job but wasn't going to replace or somewhat make they job look decent. So if this is the same company that did put the walls back. They left writing on the wall damage framework and exposed outlets. . Just a horrible job. They should take more pride in their work. The after pictures looks like a before picture.

While Craig and his crew were very personable, he unfortunately misdiagnosed my wet basement wall issue, believing it to be an exterior issue. I paid him $3,100 to seal the wall from the outside. To his credit, they did seal the wall from the outside. Six months in, I still had a wet basement wall; he encouraged me over the phone to drill holes in the interior of my wall and run a fan to dry out the "residual wetness" in the space. I complied, continually running a fan for months. Almost a year later, we still had a wet basement wall. Craig came out and took the cap off of the 4" PVC septic pipe that ran out of the basement foundation, directly above the wet area. He discovered the pipe was not angled out correctly and believed there to be a crack/break in the 4'' PVC pipe, leaking somewhere into the foundation wall. He unfortunately did not have a camera to scope inside and verify in his truck. He encouraged me to apply an epoxy to the interior of the cracked pipe, once I cleaned/dried it out. That was the last time I heard back from Craig. While drying out the interior of the pipe, I found an old chunk of epoxy that had broken loose inside the pipe. Craig had encouraged me to make the same failed repair that had already taken place inside the pipe, presumably done by the previous homeowner. Based on the location of the staining, this was the ultimate culprit of the wet wall the entire time (according to the plumber I ultimately had to hire). I sent Craig a text (May 20th) and left him a voicemail once I discovered the failed epoxy chunk sitting inside the pipe. Unfortunately I never heard back. I was simply going to ask his crew to re-seal the exterior wall once I made the needed repairs. I will likely not be seeing my $3,100 back, and had to pay a plumber to come in and rectify the problem correctly. The pipe has since been replaced and the wall is FINALLY DRY (a year later). Got a wet basement? Look elsewhere.

Wonderful experience. They were right on time and completed in the amount of time stated when I made the appointment. Crew was polite and work was done neatly! Great value and a trustorthy company! I would not hestiate to use them again for any of my basement waterproofing needs!
