Our phlebotomist at this Quest location, Hope, was extremely helpful and skilled! My college daughter usually feels faint or actually faints when her blood is drawn. Hope had her lie down, as we requested. Then, when she started the process of drawing blood, Hope engaged my daughter in animated conversation about college with both of them laughing. My daughter hardly noticed the blood draw. For the first time, she did not feel faint afterwards. Hope explained that the talking and laughing was more than a distraction - it also expelled carbon dioxide. She also told my daughter that coughing if she started to feel faint would expel more carbon dioxide, and thus could prevent actually fainting. I also needed bloodwork, and Hope helped me clear up confusion with orders from my doctor. She was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional!

Awful. Do not go here if you’re chronically ill/immunocompromised or have a history of feeling faint after a draw. They completely freaked out and didn’t know how to handle a faint patient. I had my mask forcibly removed after repeatedly saying I could breathe, not struggling with getting air, and saying I did not wish to remove it, and they poured water onto me, which in all my time getting draws I have never had happen. I will never come back here and will be taking further action.

Had the absolute best experience here. I had to take my 1 year old for blood work which was scary, but the techs made it the best possible experience and did a wonderful job. Highly recommend this place.

I went for lab test on last Friday. And there was a tech named Hope G who was very rude. I had an appointment and checked in but nobody called me. Then I had to make another appointment as a walk in because they told me I'm late. But the truth was I was there and they didn't call me. When I was sharing this to the tech she (Hope G) came from another room and was very angry.
She even said I'm hangry. Someone came to stopped her but she didn't stop. You should know how to talk to your patient especially if they are fasting for a glucose test and in their third trimester. I would never visit that place again. Infact, I change all my lab order from Quest to Labcorp.

I has been using this lab for almost 8 years because is close to my house, is easy to reach out, it's easy to make appointment, and it has walking appointment too

I receive such comforting care, when the phlebotomist name Hope at Quest Diagnostics in Howard County drew my blood. She greeted me with a smile and a very kind and upbeat personality. I forgot my paperwork. She was like no worries! Let me look it up. I was running late. They didn’t make me wait long for the next available appointment. She took the time to explain everything to me, and her work was impeccable. I did not even feel the needle. So if he choose to go to Quest Diagnostics and Howard county, request HOPE!! She made my day!!! Five Stars

Despite its modest size, this Quest Diagnostics location offers a remarkably smooth and pleasant experience that stands out from the rest. From start to finish, every aspect of our visit was streamlined and efficient, thanks to their use of electronic check-in systems and the professionalism of the staff.
Our experience was not just clinical but also personable. For instance, when we accidentally left a jacket behind, the staff was exceptionally helpful. Even though we realized this just after closing time, and the doors were already locked, the responsiveness of the staff ensured that we retrieved our item without much delay. They promptly addressed our concern as soon as someone was available to assist us.
However, a crucial piece of advice for anyone visiting this or any other Quest location: consider booking an appointment. Upon our arrival, we noticed a significant number of walk-in patients waiting—approximately 15. Unfortunately, only three of them managed to be seen between scheduled appointments by the time the facility closed. Making an appointment can substantially reduce your wait time and guarantee that you're seen promptly. I am certainly glad that we did.
