I visited the shelter to adopt my cat in 2018. He's such a happy, healthy, and playful baby! My family is really happy with him and we're very happy with all of the support we have received. We even had one of our beloved dragon lizards incinerated here because we didn't know what to do. The staff is amazing and I love the convenience of the location.

You guys should bring the program where inmates save a pet from being euthanized

They make you feel out a form that lasts forever and ever and ever. Then they tell you to go away and come back later. I saw two kittens that I would have adopted on the spot and they wouldn't let me do it

We would like to give a shout out and big thank you to Officer Ricketts for coming to our rescue last night! We had a feral cat trapped in our basement, and had tried to get him out for hours to no avail. She came late at night and managed to him out in a safe and humane way. We can't thank her enough for her perseverance and expertise!

Sad to see Kuumba go but grateful for the welcoming committee she got. I know they'll take good care of her before she finds her forever home ?

Very well run facility . We visit often to bring donations and look at the cats. Never adopted from here but would consider adopting an older cat in the future.

After recent experiences with this shelter, I cannot reccomended them! Please do not surrender your pets here. We had a dog who had a few behavioral issues and just was not adapting to city living. Due to this, we trusted the shelter to find him a more suitable home. Most of the staff here are very cold and callous, and stated the dog would most likely be euthanized. No animal should be killed because you all can't find them a home. That is just cruel and inhumane!

We got there when the place opened at noon, and were leaving at 2. There's an online questionairre that you can fill out beforehand that helps speed up the process, otherwise you have to scan a QR code at the desk and fill it out to get your info. into the system. It's a clean, apparently well run shelter. They were having everyone wear gloves and change them between kitties because there's a respiratory infection viral thing going on.If you live in MoCo, then you can register on site and get all the paperwork taken care of, as well as a coupon for a free vet visit the week following your adoption that lists a couple dozen vets in the area. They'll even let you go in to the rooms and see the cats/kittens/dogs/whatnot any time, but you can only actively adopt when you can have an adoption counsellor with you, and they're transitioning away from having appointments to being all walk-ins.

My dog ran away and MCAS found her!! I found out she was there 30 minutes before they closed and they stayed open so I could take my baby home. I really appreciate everything you guys do! Thank you!
