I'm another person who was promised to check in December. Owed almost $100. Also, many items left there. Is there any recourse? Just tried to call on the phone has been disconnected. Hope she doesn't try to open another shop somewhere else!

yes I was promised a check as well that was to be sent before the end of December 2023. I hope Michelle does the right thing and pays us what is owed and returns clothes. I had a sneaky feeling she was planning to close suddenly and I would never see my last check. I'm sure she will file for bankruptcy and maybe we'll have to get in line to get what is owed to us. so unethical to her king time clients she owes. sad the shop closed, yet please do the right and moral thing!

A month before she went out of business she was very rude. I had clothing and money there. She has everyone's email when you consign. Guess everything is gone..Tina's consignment relived.. Closed up!

They appear to have gone out of business and taken my consignment earnings with them. Angry doesn't begin to cover it.

I sure hope this owner plans to hand over money and clothing items owed to her clients since she went out of business. I see she's disabled her google reviews so no one can call her out!

I love shopping at Boomerang’s! New items come into the shop regularly, prices are great, and the staff are always so welcoming. If you haven’t gone before, go check them out!

This is basically like Plato’s closet, oriented towards the 15-25 year old crowd.

I have been consigning here, and shopping here, for well over a decade. Even though I live over an hour away from the store now, I still make a point to get to this location about every 1-1.5mos. It's a great store! As a consigner: the consignment agreement is beyond fair and the drop-off/pick-up (or donate) processes are extra user friendly (there's no waiting around - she's streamlined it to make it a great consigner experience too). The shop treats it's consigners with dignity, respect, and as partners (this is not always a given with consignment shops, and t's the reason I have primarily stayed with this shop to consign). Michelle is clear/candid about what's selling and what's not, and what's trending and what's not, so that I can bring what's actually going to move -- making it a win-win for each of us.As a consumer: I have many great finds, throughout the seasons/changes in inventory, throughout the year. Occasionally I can find a high-end brand name "steal" (the pricing, even for high end brands, is untouchable at this shop! you won't find better deals). I often find a great piece (or pieces) for something I have that's upcoming and/or when I want something fresh/new for my wardrobe, without spending a lot. The prices are competitive, if not extra reasonable across the board (frankly, I feel like they should/could charge more - but the retail market has been so tricky the last few years, I appreciate they keep the prices consistent to retain and attract new customers).I much prefer shopping here to the discount spots (e.g. TJMaxx/Ross/etc), primarily it's very easy to shop and find what you're looking for... or simply to browse and find something by flipping through everything, and the prices are great. Michelle has high standards for what she allows on the floor (e.g. no surprise stains, holes, or material weaknesses in the clothes), so I trust what I pull off the shelf and I don't have to inspect it for quality - since she allowed it on the shelf, it's definitely a quality product. It's a very clean shop, and organized, which makes it nice to shop here too. I'm not a big shopper (shopping tends to be more stressful than relaxing for me), but shopping at Boomerrang is a relaxing, easy shopping experience.

Worst!! Clothes are crap. I brought new items fairly new nice brand names neatly folded and followed her instructions over the phone to a T on what to bring. 20 items check... no fall or winter spring only check... What a b*tchy woman. So damn rude. Drove all the way over in the rain with bags of nicely folded clothes she was so extremely picky. Its fine ... I get if it was high end clothing in that store and even if the clothes didn't work that's ok too ..she could have been nicer about it... such a crappy attitude dealing with customers. Never going back again. I looked around the store .. shoes are worn and look cheap as f... good luck to her .... Too bad nice expensive gently used clothing are now going to good will. Oh well.... What's with people who work in a business that have such attitudes. Low class imo

Stay away from this business if you like earn a few dollars by consigning your clothing. The new owner, Michelle, will use every excuse not to pay, and she'll do it rudely. It used to be a quality place with a lovely owner, but it has gone way downhill since then. I've worked with them for 15 years but would rather give away my clothes than ever try to do business with them again.

I have been consigning and shopping here for many years and have nothing but positive things to say! Not only have I been able to sell my nice clothing and accessories, but I find great things to buy, too! The owner, Michelle and her wonderful staff are so great to work with. You set up an account and appointments to drop off your items, no more than 20 items at a time. They are very choosy about what they will accept, as they will review each item closely and will price it accordingly. The seller receives 50% of what it sells for...not a bad deal at all!

I enjoyed shopping here very much. The prices are very reasonable and though there are quite a few dated items there also are hidden gems--higher-end clothing by the likes of Lily Pulitzer, Ralph Lauren, Nanette Lapore, Eliza B., etc.. Everything was well organized and there was a large collection of Vera Bradley items. However, my experience as a consignor was uneven. On my first visit I had a delightful chat with one of the managers who encouraged me to bring my items in. When I arrived for my appointment, a different manager was on duty who discouraged me from consigning because my items were in small sizes (I'm a size 4-6). I also learned that if they did consign my items and the items did not sell, the items automatically would be donated and there would be no opportunity to retrieve them. I will shop here again but probably won't try consigning again.

I am a shopper and consignor at Boomerangs for the last 25 years. This shop is a hidden gem. Large selection of jewelry, designer handbags, shoes, clothes and more. The consignment process is easy and as a consignor the split is 50/50!! Unheard of in the consignment world. As things sell, I keep my profits with Boomerangs and use the money to add to my wardrobe. Almost forgot, they sell gorgeous cards and designer perfume, too. I have purchased amazing finds at low, low prices. I plan on going to Boomerangs for years to come. Thank you to the amazing owner and sales team!!
