The technician explained my rotors were the wrong size (too small/another story for another day) and my brakes were functioning improperly.Took it to the VW dealership for a double check, their "brake check" indicated nothing was wrong.After this clear report, I asked them to verify what DRSC told me, the dealership went back and verified my rotors were too small! “This station provides excellent service and reasonable-cost repairs. My car broke down just a block (luckily) from the station. Several repairmen came down with equipment to charge the battery, to find the problem, etc. They discovered that it was leaking oil to the point that it was dry, and the car had shut itself down as a protective measure. They filled it up with oil, drove it back to the station, and repaired it all within 24 hours. They were completely transparent about the cost upfront (which was completely reasonable.) They didn't take advantage of my ignorance. Quite the opposite, they explained everything thoroughly, and were courteous, warm, and friendly.”
