Literally the worst safeway i have ever been to. I would give it -2 stars if possible.
It's difficult to actually make it in the store without someone jumping you or begging you for change, and if you manage to make it inside I hope you like pushing around a cart from 1954. Want a basket?? No chance...Not a single basket in sight whenever I go here. I usually have to walk over to the self checkout to find one since the staff, who are usually off playing circle jerk, cant be bothered to drop them back off at the front of the store.
Don't even get me started on the prices.
Avoid the whole shopping center. It needs to be shut down.

Came here to cash a check on Sunday 7/14 at 3:40PM and no one was there to help. Managers were paged for minutes and no one ever answered. Finally the young lady cashier came back to say the managers said they didn’t make enough money to cash my check. Mind you they didn’t come out or even know it was just a 100$ check. Poor customer service as always from these rude managers

Keith rude! The store manager is rude too! These people seem so miserable and unhelpful. Like they don’t even want to be there. Kids who work there are always smoking on company time and roaming around outside. The one young lady is always in her phone even when checking guests out. Just a very unprofessional store

WORST SAFEWAY I HAVE BEEN TO. It’s sad because I thought Columbia would be better than some other areas but the service was HORRIFIC. Sat in my car waiting for my groceries I ordered for 20 min, went inside to get help, NO ONE CAME, no one answered the phone. It took 45 min altogether to finally get someone to get my groceries that were sitting out waiting for 45 min. Then I got an attitude for being upset about it. I will NEVER come back and I hope you don’t have to experience the same

The first One star in all my years of loving Safeway! The hot food was not HOT! The chicken had feathers fried and $1.99 ea they gave me the smallest and hardest they could find in the pile. yall I took the pic for a reason smh. The attitudes were tuding. Safeway for 40 years and I will never ever go back to Columbia Farm again NEVER! Tl

8:59 the guy behind the counter “wouldn’t serve me until 9”. I was trying to rent a carpet cleaner and he was very rude and told me I needed an ID from the exact town we were in and wouldn’t rent to me. Called parent rental company and they said that’s not a policy. Thank god there’s actual people with customer service at Home Depot who helped me rent the unit quickly!

Young kids working on their phones all day. Literally the young boy with dreadlocks was walking around smoking weed blaring music on his phone and I know he wasn’t on break. Always smells like weed at the front end. The girl who works there she be in all the departments she’s ALWAYS on her phone like face in her phone while she’s ringing up customers. The only professional workers are in the deli, bakery, and seafood. The manager he is rude that is why the store is being ran look at who is leading. I don’t even go there anymore I take my business to giant instead. Much more comfortable experience.
