Rodger did a terrific job at replacing our old dishwasher with a new one we bought. He was very quick and responsive on Yelp when I had questions ahead of time, and then he was great on the day. The vagaries of our old house gave him more trouble than expected, but he persevered and was able to remove the old dishwasher and put in the new one. He tested it for leaks after he connected it, so we could make sure everything was all squared away. He was very kind and competent. Highly recommended!

Rodger was very intelligent, friendly and effecientt. He quickly diagnosed our burned out drain pump and ordered a new one. Unfortunately, he was injured in a car accident the day he was supposed to return but to his credit, he actually defied doctor's orders to fix the washer as soon as he physically could. The washer was fixed quickly. As a result of our experience, he will be the first call the next time something goes awry. Highly recommended!

Rodger is terrific -- extremely smart, efficient, and fairly priced. Before hiring him, I read a lot of reviews and got multiple quotes on repairing my refrigerator icemaker. I'm very glad I decided to hire him for the job, and will 100% call on him for any future appliance repairs I need done.

Thompson Appliance Repair was very professional. He responded promptly to my request for information, he fully explained his pricing before coming, arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly and returned the following day, again on time, to fix (and install the new parts) for my dishwasher. I would definitely use his service again as he was very knowledgeable, there were no hidden fees and he completed an effective and quick repair.

Rodger is always helpful. He came by to check my washer machine, after fixing my dryer years ago. He looked at it and said it's probably best to get a new one. He also didn't charge for looking at it, so I appreciate it. I definitely recommend Rodger for your repairs!

Great worker, cares, open to questions and recommendations. Responsive to questions. Had to get a part but made sure to get back to us soon as it was in inventory. Our space isn't the easiest to work with, cramped and old units, but wasn't concerned with that. Totally recommend.

Was able to get an appointment quickly. Our Whirlpool dryer was not drying. He was able to diagnose that a new heating element was needed. His price was fair and his work was efficient. He also took the time to explain the various parts of the dryer.

Rodger worked his way through the possible problems w/ the washer at the initial appointment, diagnosed the problem, showed me what parts were needed and why. Turned out to be normal wear and tear. He had to postpone the scheduled f/u visit, but arrived promptly for the installation appointment despite a severe storm w/ heavy rain that had caused him to pull off the road. He was professional, friendly, very tidy as he did his work and efficient. Kudos Rodger!

My burner on my stove hadn't been working. Roger was the only person I called who said he would just charge me the diagnostic fee if he could fix it on the spot. He was friendly and came wearing a mask (which I appreciated). He figured out what the problem was right away, fixed it, showed me exactly how to prevent it from happening again in the future and showed me a tool I could order from Amazon. I really appreciated how he took the time to explain things to me, would definitely recommend.

Now because of this dishonest response I have to go there. Why only one star? Because 0 wasn't an option. WE Set up 2 appointments with (2 hour windows each time) and he missed both. The first time he missed I had to call him to find out what happened. He said he was super busy and way behind. I understood. That was Friday. I waited all week for him but I understand that things can happen especially on a Friday. He later rescheduled for Tuesday morning. I figured I would be a priority since he already missed one appointment. Boy, was I wrong. Tuesday morning came and he missed that too. No apology or any concern that he just burned 4 hours of my time on 2 different days waiting on him. He just replies matter of factly that his tech would do the install and his only availability was after 5:30pm or the weekend. I replied neither time would work for me because of my schedule but it was like take it or leave it. Bottom line, he missed 2 appointments and showed no compulsion or flexibility to make it right. I found Zapata's HVAC Systems. Pablo was able to do the job the next day. No drama, no excuses. There are a lot of good reviews for Thompson Appliances but unfortunately for some reason I wasn't treated like a valued customer which is the impetus behind this review.
