“This Madewell store is located on Level 2 of Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, MD. I haven't been to Montgomery Mall in years so I was pleased to see all of the updates that have been made to the mall. I had a really positive experience doing an exchange at this store. The sales associate was very friendly and efficient. I had ordered the transport camera bag in black and it had a small blemish on the leather. I was able to exchange the bag that I had received in the mail for the same bag in-store. Should I need to return or exchange anything in the future, this Madewell store will be my first choice.”

In the past I have been to Ann Taylor’s with my mom for business clothing so I recommended it to her. “So I'll start my story off by saying I first purchased some shoes from Vinci online and it was fairly simple. I had also seen some of the negative reviews about the company and quality of shoes so I was skeptical at first. The order arrived quickly from their shipping site in VA but the order ran a bit larger than my other shoes. I wear an 11 so I got a 10.5/11. I then reached out via email to Vinci and Serkan replied and told me no worries bring them in and they will exchange for me no problem. I brought then in and true to their word I was greeted nicely by the sales team and eventually Serkan himself with a firm handshake and assurance that they would swap them out for me. The lady then brought out two different sizes for me to try. The 9.5/10 ended up fitting me the best but when I got home that pair needed to be exchanged for a different pair due to something on that pair. So I reached back out to Serkan and explained everything and he apologized and said that should not have happened and that he would take care of it. So I went back into the store yesterday, but they were out of the size as there was a mistake. So Serkan assured me he'd make it right and reached out to a nearby store to see if they had my size and style. He's supposed to get me the new pair soon. I said all this to say I can't speak for everyone who has shopped here but my experience has been a pleasant one to date. Serkan appears to actually care and trys to make things right even admitting he made a mistake on the size and offering to make sure I got the shoes in person. The team was also very nice it seems from my experience. They also have a very nice presentation and floor set in the store. I would shop here again as they haven't given me any negative experience but one that actually shows they make good on their word so far. I'll update this once I receive the replacement pair but so far so good at this location. Thank you Serkan and team for your assistance. The ladies were also very nice.*UPDATE* I received the shoes last week from Serkan in person true to his word, thank you!”

“I went in today after looking at this brand's website for a few weeks. Given the company's focus on sustainability I was hoping the product was comfortable. I won't order shoes online without being sure of the fit. That said, the customer service here is outstanding. I knew the color and shoe I was most interested in was not in stock and tried a couple alternatives out. I ultimately decided to order the color I was initially drawn to and would not have felt comfortable doing so had the staff not walked me through four or five different pairs for fitting. They did the firework online for me and I just swiped my card. In a couple days they'll arrive at my door without an additional delivery fee. Then maybe I'll review the shoes themselves.”
