I need to demolish the wall, change the floor to pet friendly floor, move the sink pipe, and want to do Ikea kitchen cabinet by myself. A lot of company said no to me. They asked to buy the material or cabinet through only their vendors. But this company was very flexible, they worked with my idea and my schedule. Kevin was very responsive and professional guy, You will see people everyday 8am to 4pm, And They tried to finish the work as soon as possible. After everything done, you will have 2 year warranty about their work. I love my kitchen now, very satisfied.

A long overdue review: I really enjoyed working with this family run business and traveled from AACo. just to work with them. They were very thorough and beat out all of the other bids (about 5) that I got elsewhere. The finished product was great. Any changes or add-ons I had to make were easy, quick, and handled professionally.

Good selection.Amazingly good prices (better than Home Depot, IKEA, or any of the cabinet countertop stores in the southern Maryland and Northern VAarea. Believe me..I went to about 12 different places to compare selection, quality and prices). Service good, ordering and delivery time was extremely fast..two-4 days from purchase to delivery to my home. They recommended a cabinet installer that was excellent too: "Equity Renovations", and then that guy recommended an excellent inexpensive, quick painter (Hermes Flores).
Beautiful high quality soft close cabinets made in America for a great price, and delivered super fast. Small, but quality show room. Highly recommend these guys. It is a family run business too. FYI..they are a bit difficult to find...they are behind Arby's...tough to find but totally worth the effort!

Thorough communication skills are certainly lacking in this business. When making it very clear that I wanted ONLY solid wood and plywood parts in my cabinets 4 cabinets came with manufactured compressed paper furniture board. Sam quickly replaced some of the pieces with plywood pieces but the cabinets and end panels remained the crappy stuff. Late in the process Sam explained that those pieces are not manufactured as plywood pieces. If he had explained that from the start I would have chosen a different brand or company and they wouldn't be getting this bad review. To Sam's credit he moved quickly to make things good where he could and I appreciate that. But better communication would have prevented a lot of headache.
Sam also came out to my house twice. Once to verify my measurements and once two adjust a door that wasn't closing properly. He made good efforts.
On the other hand his counterpart at the business "Steve", was insulting, condescending, and an arrogant know I all who wanted nothing to do with satisfying customers and was more inclined to arguing and insulting. Were it not for Steve's attitude I would have given the business 3 stars

The guys at AKD helped us alot on our house remodelling. We primarily used them for the kitchen cabinets, but they also helped us with bathroom and mudroom cabinetry. They were always pleasant, helpful and honest.

We purchased cabinets from AK to the tune of $30k, earlier this year.
Our understanding from them was that the cut outs will fit std appliances.
The cabinets are beautiful, and like we expected, but the std double oven and microwave cannot fit (spaces too small),
We contacted the vendor (Brian), who was dismissive and suggested that the installers can make required changes.
I am dissatisfied that the cut outs don't work, and the vendor is uncaring now that they have been paid.
I will NOT recommend them for those reasons ...
