Overpriced. No hotel parking, had to pay $80 for city parking connected to hotel. Very little in the way of amenities. No complimentary breakfast for expensive night stay. Confusing elevators, and 1 broken. Clean room but again, bathroom sink faucet falling apart. At pool area, hot tub also out of order. Although the staff was friendly and helpful, I would not recommend a stay.

Room was dirty and overlooked the empty interior shopping center. As a Bonvoy Gold Elite member and Marriott Boundless (annual fee) card holder, I asked the front desk if I had simply not received my promised automatic upgrade. They offered me a Club level room for an additional $50 per night. When I pointed out that the advertised rate for several club level options was the exact same as what I was paying, they still refused to move me to the requested room or even an exterior facing room. I then asked if I could have club access as consideration for their denials of my requests. They again tried to charge me $50 per night. I declined. I went to pack my things before checking out today and noticed trash peeking out from under the corner of the bed.
It was a condom wrapper. I told the front desk and emailed them with a photo. They have not responded, called, or offered any kind of apology, partial refund, or even to connect me with anyone. I contacted Bonvoy customer service and they gave me a case number but essentially said I was on my own to duke it out with the property - which clearly is desperately mismanaged. The "service" agent at Bonvoy (he claimed his name is Greg) was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. Nobody in this situation is giving the brand a good name. I am ready to discontinue staying in Marriott properties altogether, giving up my status, and demanding my annual Boundless card fee back. This is insane behavior for the property and for the brand.
Rooms: Room was filthy. See photos.
Noteworthy details: Terrible, unresponsive management. Weird empty shopping center inside the hotel.

The staff was great. Our mom was not feeling well from the drive when we got there. Ms. Noel changed our room closer to the elevator so she would not have to walk as far. Derrick even went as far as loading our luggage into the car. Top notch place to stay.
Rooms: Very nice
Nearby activities: Aquarium was nice
Walkability: Lots of nice areas to walk.
Food and drinks: Within walking distance
Noteworthy details: Overall great experience

I came here for a staycation with the family. Hotel was nice. I really liked it. Clean....modern. the breakfast buffet was expensive for what you got $30 but it was fine. I wish they changed it everyday. It had the typical breakfast stuff...omelet, sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles and bread. Fruits and pastries. The rooms had smart TV with the popular apps. Pool was open* hot tub not, wish they had a kid pool..other than that it was good. It's across the street from the aquarium and everything else.
Nearby activities: aquarium

Close to everything including the Power-plant night life, restaurants, harbor walk and night life. Great morning breakfast buffet and Shawn makes a great omelet to order and is very cool. Parking is a bit high but it matches other garages around within a few dollars per day and it is a simple elevator ride up.
Safety: Welll lit and clean areas

Do not stay here if you are driving. The parking system made this one of the most stressful check-ins I've ever had. You have 15 minutes to put your license number and credit card in a website or you get ticketed and booted. If there's any problem with your phone or the the website or your connection, which could easily happen in a concrete structure after a day of travel, you are frantically trying to fix things. And it doesn't warn you that you need to
remember your license number, so if you try to pay in the elevator on the way to the checkout desk you have to turn around and go back to your car to look at the number. It's a horrible stressful hassle and so much worse than any other parking garage I've been to.

I was a bit nervous after seeing all the negative reviews, so I had to share my positive one! We stayed for one night in October while attending a concert at nearby Ram’s Head Live (a short walk). Upon arriving, we were immediately greeted in the lonby by the bellman Derrick who was incredibly friendly and helpful. He got a luggage cart and helped us bring our luggage from the parking garage up to our room on the 10th floor. We were able to check in early too which was nice and they gave everyone cold water bottles upon check in. Location is perfect, right across the street from the Cheesecake Factory in the harbor and a short walk to the Aquarium. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be that parking should be free or discounted for hotel guests, it’s currently $36/day for anyone who parks there and you have to pay with an app, it’s not associated with the hotel but you can access the hotel via the elevators.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. I was charged for dates I did not reserve and when attempting to contact the hotel about it, I called serval times over a week. No one answer the phone and when I finally did get an answer I was hung up on.

Treated like crap from start to finish.
Intentionally double charged my stay. Refuses to address the refund. Refuses to address the credit card dispute. This hotel owes me over $600. Customer service is like a ghost town. Nobody steps up to take responsibility. NO ONE - from the GM to the accounting dept to the front desk. It's as if failure is their protocol.
If you have to stay at this hotel - keep an eye on your money.

Don't spend your money here. This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed at. The pre-booked room wasn't ready on arrival, and we were offered a different room. It is ridiculous that you are mandated to pay for wifi. The rooms are old and filthy. The rooms are old and filthy. The handles on the kitchen cabinets are falling off. We prepaid for two nights, and upon checking my card statement, there was an additional charge of more than $700. I contacted customer service and was transferred to the accounting department many times before someone could finally help me; customer service could not elaborate on why I was being charged again.
