I had a good experience with North American Van Lines. I was anxious about trusting a moving company with my things. The moving consultants I worked with were responsive and worked with me. The moving crew arrived promptly and were easy to work with. Nothing was damaged and they even put my platform bed together!

The packing crew said a lay over in Seattle would be 2 days it was much longer and cost 2000 odd dollars. Upon arrival I had to wait two weeks for furniture to come. Then when the men finished unloading my furniture they rushed me into signing final form. I was reimbursed for Dyson vacuum. Lost antique chair, chrystal,, precious family dishes etc. Do not let them rush you in your inspection at your destination.

It was a horrible experience and I’m still dealing with Shauna for a claim. According to her, I can’t file the claim on the website and it has to be printed and signed. During a pandemic, why wouldn’t this be electronic? It doesn’t make sense when the website lists a link for claims. I’ve been given the runaround with this process, as to not get compensated for the negligence. Military move from FL to MD and my furniture was damaged, along with rude movers. Older man by the name of Sam dropped my couch in front of me without apologizing, instead he had an attitude because I took pictures of everything. The entire move was disappointing on Coleman’s side. Lloyd was very helpful with the move quote but once the movers arrived, it went downhill quick. Both men didn’t seem to agree with how they would move items. I had to step in several times to reiterate the delicacy of certain items (EVEN THOUGH I LABELED THEM AS FRAGILE WITH BIG BRIGHT UHAUL STICKERS). This was supposed to be relatively easy with how I organized things in preparation. I would never recommend anyone who cares about their assets to move with this company!!!!!!!!

Do not use this company. i felt like i was scammed with my interstate move. I don't trust anything about this company. Will be reporting them to BBB and DOT if they are licensed with them. Items picked up on date, but sat in there warehouse for 10-11 days before getting loaded onto a linehaul truck with North American. Sat so load that the storage time ran in to delivery timeframe. Lots of apologizes which is not helpful when you commit to moving someone's household items and you fail. My items still have not arrived on the West Coast, may or not make my delivery window the company cannot validate all inventoried items are on the truck. I also question the weight scale tag. How can it be so pricise to the estimated weight, like with 10 pounds, I chose to ship items, purge a lot of items so I know weight limit dropped so was so surprised when weight scale almost matches estimate. Smelly fish. Will be reporting this to BBB as well.
