The folks working there (with the exception of one person I've encountered) are all rude. They also never have my prescription ready to be picked up. I'd go somewhere else if it wasn't the closest place to my house.

The pharmacist didn’t even bother to tell me at the register that 1 of my prescriptions was out of stock . I had to call & ask the pharmacy when I got back home why I was missing one of my medications when they later informed me that it was out of stock. I later had to wait 3 more days to then travel back to the pharmacy to pick it up. The cashiers have nasty attitudes as well. Pick a different job if you don’t like yours ??♀️

They apparently got audited by the DEA so you have to jump through hoops to get any controlled substances here. Employees are horribly rude about it as well. Was left on hold for over an hour waiting for an answer to a simple yes or no question. My husband had to call from his phone to see if they forgot about me and was told they had no record of me being on hold at all while I was still actively on the line. As someone who works in healthcare, the way they have spoken to me and my husband on several different occasions is jarring and disturbing. I’d look for a different pharmacy if I were you. I definitely will be.

If I could give them a negative number I would, Their pharmacy is horrendous. They never carry the medicines needed you put in prescriptions and retrieve them in one or two days they're still not ready you'll have to wait. They don't have good customer service skills at all in addition to being unorganized (I was told they were working on my prescription so I returned a hour later to be told the medicine had to be ordered). The medicine was for a child (they were aware of this fact) but instead of originally telling me the situation you had me return twice don't waste your time go somewhere else.

The Reviews That I have read are horrible there are more bad reviews than good ones, even though I wouldn't give giants a review unless' I have experience how badly these people have been treated .

Pretty annoyed at this place overall; the only thing that is stopping me from giving zero stars is the awesome pharmacist on the phone who saved my order. The back story: I originally ordered my prescription at a CVS back around July 1st or so (it's now July 25). The prescription arrived within about 2-3 days and I received an email letting me know it was ready for pickup. I had the prescription transferred over to this pharmacy at that point (easier to pick it up there + better discount), and the transfer was seamless. What was NOT seamless was the actual order. The pharmacist who I spoke with at the time of the transfer said that my prescription was on back order, so there would be a delay. I get that such things happen, so I waited. Several weeks went by and no further contact from this pharmacy. I finally called today, and the pharmacist looked up my account. She told me that she couldn't find the order. At this point, I figure one of two things must have happened. Either (1) the order went in, the prescription was filled was waiting (but I was never informed that it was ready), and when I didn't pick it up (because I was never contacted), they cleared the order. Or (2) the order never went in. Either way, now I'm pretty upset that several weeks were wasted because this slipped through the cracks. The pharmacist I spoke with via phone today was great, however. Again, she is the only reason I'm giving this pharmacy any stars. She was transparent about this place messing up my order, and she immediately re-submitted the order, plus checked out my insurance's policy for the order, applied a discount card, and gave me a timeline (~two days) for when the order should arrive. I am not returning to this pharmacy, but a big thank you to the pharmacist who helped me.[Update, 1 Aug 2023] I called back on July 30 to check the status of the resubmitted order. The lady who answered the phone gave me a curt response when I asked if my prescription had arrived ("No."). She told me to try back the next day, as prescriptions arrived each afternoon. So I called again yesterday (31st). Still nothing. I transferred my prescription back to the original CVS, as I'm not sure this pharmacy will ever fill my order.

Honestly one of the best pharmacies I have ever gone to. The staff are so friendly and helpful, so much so that I make it a point to tell them how much I appreciate them pretty much every time I am there. So much better than the pharmacy in Mount Vernon where I was going before, where the customer service had gone seriously downhill and they kept closing earlier and earlier. Thank you, Giant Pharmacy staff, for all that you do.

None of my complaints are with the staff, but I literally never get my meds without a hitch. There is always some issue. Giant, like most corporations relies on understaffing to keep their profits high. We suffer for it with worse customer service, longer waits, and more mistakes. Pay your staff more and make sure there are enough of them working so we can get our meds without the headache each time.
