I went in with a bag that needed two straps attached. The lady helping me said I should go to a shoe repair place. I showed her the bag and the straps I needed attached and how they should be attached. She agreed to do the project. I prepaid and left.
When I came back, one of the straps was attached incorrectly. She said I didn't explain clearly. That could very well be. Regardless, when I asked if she would fix it she said no. Next time, I'll go to someone who cares enough to either 1. pay close attention up front 2. pay close attention when attaching the straps so they're attached on the same place on both sides or 3. fix the mistake to make the customer happy and deliver on what was promised.
She did do a good job on the one strap and did a good job attaching the other, though it was placed incorrectly. She was also friendly and nice - just wished she'd cared enough to fix the mistake so I could have a functional bag.
