I took my lawn tractor mower to the as it hadn't run in several years. James and Mark were able to give it a major tune up, rebuild the carburetor, replace the battery, and even sharpen the blade -- all for less than half of the budget! The machine runs great and is a lot fo fun to drive!

I spoke to George from my Lawncare service and he recommended I go to Bowens and get my supplies for seeding my lawn. He told me who to ask for and I'm drawing a blank but I think it was James in the garden section. He asked a few questions and had me on my way with lime and fertilizer. I already had the seed. Got it all down before all the rain last week so fingers crossed ? we have new grass this year! It was such a big help to be told exactly what I needed and they loaded up my SUV so that someone at home could empty it. I used to go there for lye when my soapmaking business was open. That was 10 years ago but I went for 17 years. Always excellent service!
