It’s apparently under new owners, who implemented the 100$ deposit, so don’t be fooled that the new owners will or have made it any better. Total cash grab scam.
Stayed here instead of driving home after meeting some friends. The staff working were absolutely great, very friendly and kind. But the room was gross and not worth 1/3 of what they charge. There was a hole in the bathroom sink and small bugs in it, dirty caulking all around the bathroom, bugs around the toilet and in the tub. And no soap of any kind provided. The walls and doors were dirty, the headboard was broken, the door didn't even lock properly we found out as leaving. The room as a whole looked clean at first, but it was quick to see how dirty and gross and needing of repair and updating:
The room was 106 with taxes (which is ridiculous in the middle of nowhere), They take a 100$ security deposit. When we were checking out to get our deposit back, they wouldn’t return it because there was blood on the bedding. Since neither of us had anything bleeding, they showed me the diluted blood stains on the back of the comforter and sheets. We didn’t even sleep in that bed, just stole pillows from it. And they refused to return the deposit.
If it wasn’t for the great and friendly service from the bartender and the other employee I would have given this place 0stars if I could. I feel completely ripped off and scammed, 206$ for a dirty, buggy, badly in need of repair room.
Noteworthy details: Don’t waste your time or money.

The place is falling apart. The bathroom was gross - bugs in the tub and on the floor. Moldy tub and sink. Hole in sink. TV didn't work. Walls dirty and paint chipping off. The beds looked clean, but with so many bugs in the room, we weren't chancing it. Left without sleeping there and made the drive back to the city in the middle of the night instead. I think the other reviews might be the owners cousins or something because there's no way it's the same place. Yikes.

went there around march of 2018. smelt a bit weird. had to adjust the tv ourselves but it worked. bed was okay, comfy. the a/c was LOUD. friendly host, most needs were met. i liked the soda and water on the dresser, nice touch. Sidewalk was very icy and slippery, dangerous and a precaution they should look up on. the bathrooms were decent, pillows soft.

Slightly difficult to make reservations, was told it was "first come, first serve" but eventually managed to make a reservation. The place was clean, had a tv, fridge, and microwave which was nice. There was a locked WiFi but no password given and when went to ask couldn't find anyone. The room smelt a little musty but overall it was a fine stay and the staff was friendly.
