Bed was pretty good. Good location. Pools are nice, although busy. Lots of kids.
Parking is tricky and it doesn’t appear to be sufficient. Tight spaces and lots of SUVs and trucks. If you are in a room that connects to another, be prepared for noise if there are kids .
Rooms: Ok
Nearby activities: York beach isn’t far.
Safety: Parking is bad. Be careful.
Walkability: Close to beach!
Food & drinks: No clue. I’m GF and drive to what I can eat.

The Anchorage is easily one of the best places to stay in York Beach. Panoramic view of the ocean, amazing service, and the rooms are perfect to rest in after a long day. The price may be a site of dissonance, but it's definitely worth it because you'll have a trustworthy place.
Rooms: The rooms are in a classic Maine feel with just a little bit more cushiness.
Nearby activities: Long Sands has plenty of activities in the area, but it's best known just for a good walk.
Food & drinks: I HAVE to recommend the Sun & Surf, which also delivers to your room.

Clean rooms, ocean view, close to dining, complimentary water and coffee, small coffee maker in room, pleasant helpful staff.
Food & drinks: Bar at outdoor pool, breakfast items and snacks for purchase, no hot breakfast but restaurants nearby.

I last visited more than ten years ago and it is clear that a significant expense went into maintenance and modernization. The decor is simple but clean and very functional, for example electrical outlets on both sides of bed (we have two CPAP machines). The staff was pleasant and attentive and the indoor facility made a gray and chilly day more pleasant

Absolutely love the suites at Anchorage Inn. Kudos to the housekeeping, my room was spotless!!! The heated bathroom floors are a plus!! This is a must for a summer getaway!

Nice rooms and views from 3rd floor. The staff was really friendly. Not much nearby. If you want nice time by the beach and don't need to be near the bustle of York, great choice!
Rooms: Not very big but clean and beachy/nautical themed. It's nice.

Loved the updated rooms in the Atrium! So many amenities here. Great pools, poolside Cafe for a quick snack or drinks, and best location on Long Sands. It was nice falling asleep listening to the waves at night. Nice view from our balcony. Short 2 minute walk fromto beach. beach.

Great view of the lighthouse. The room was very comfortable and clean. Was a nice weekend getaway for my wife and I.
Rooms: We had a king-size bed with a small balcony overlooking the ocean. The room was clean and spacious.

Haven't been here in a few years but it is still a great hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always immaculate and smell great. Location could not be any better. We just love this place. You would really have to go out of your way to find something wrong here.
Rooms: Rooms are very cute. I've stayed in all the big name hotels and these rooms are always spotless.
Safety: Very safe area of Maine. Zero concerns. We leave our door open to the room during the day
Walkability: The beach is directly across the street and restaurants along the beach are a very easy 10-15 minute walk
Noteworthy details: Definitely enjoy the Adirondack chairs on there front lawn
