After we toured the school with the Director years ago, we immediately knew it was the right place for our family. My oldest daughter transitioned there when she was three years old, and we watched her thrive from the very beginning. She spent two years there attending half-day preschool, and she was more than prepared once she entered kindergarten. My second daughter is in preschool there now, and I am confident that she is learning the skills she needs to be successful in life and in school. She is blossoming into a kind, caring, thoughtful learner, and I attribute that to the Montessori education she is receiving from her teachers.I feel at peace sending my child there each day, knowing she is receiving the best care possible, all while developing lifelong friendships, learning important life and self-help skills, and becoming independent and academically prepared for kindergarten. My daughter is excited to go to school everyday to see her teachers and friends, and has so much to tell me at the end of the day.The safety standards and protocol that have been in place since Covid have been made extremely clear, and communication has been constant. I have felt incredibly safe sending my daughter there during this pandemic. The Director is the most genuine, kind, caring, and patient person I’ve ever met. She has always gone above and beyond for children and families, and during Covid it has been no exception. We are so glad we found this community! Little Log Cabin Montessori School has become like family to us, and I would highly recommend to others!”
“CNS has quickly become a special place not only for our 4-year-old, but for our whole family. We were drawn to the unique co-op model of CNS and have loved watching our child and her classmates engage with the world around them, ask questions, and grow and develop alongside such warm and caring teachers. We are so grateful to have found such an incredible early childhood experience at CNS.”

My children ages 18 months and 3 years old attend the center M - F, leaving home with eagerness to spend the day with their "teachers" and friends. Not only is the administration personal with every parent that walks in, they are also prepared and actively engaged in modernizing the facility. I've noticed many efforts towards making the facility a fun, safe, and clean center - projects like a new outdoor play scape, fresh paint indoors, child safe bathrooms with toddler accessible seats and sinks, etc. My most recent favorite update is the facility's incorporation of the Brightwheel app where I receive timely updates throughout my children's day on their activities, nap schedules, meal times, and occasional photos of my children having fun. The app also lets us manage our billing and make payments - making budgeting for day care easier on us. I would HIGHLY recommend this center to any parent that loves their child(ren) and is looking for staff that have many years of experience. That's something you don't see often either that you see here - not a single staff member is new - they are all well versed with child safety training and have worked at the facility for several years. Although my family lives in Windham, we make the commute to Building Blocks 5 days a week just to know that our children are in the safest care possible. Thank you Building Blocks for all that you do to care for our kids!!!!”
“A wonderful place where your kids will thrive! They can do it all - from clay classes to improv theater. My kids have been coming since 2010. You'll also be surprised how affordable it is!”

“Their experience and tools have been a lifesaver for our family. We did not know what to do when we were told our son had autism and they taught us how to work with him in ways he understood. His improvement has been obvious to all our family and friends! The staff is amazing at keeping us informed with how he is doing and things he is learning.”
