The room was amazing we got the 2 bedroom deluxe by the pool as we had a AAU basketball tournament. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed in room 151 and it was beautiful and spacious. The upgrades were wonderful and it was quiet. The inside pool was nice. The people at the front desk were so friendly.

I have been staying here for 20+ years. We decided to go for a long weekend with multiple families because of the indoor pool.
As a pool owner, I know how to maintain a pool and what the water should look like. We showed up, and the water was green. All 11 of us got sick.
Called up The Elmwood Resort to let them know about our experience, and we got a "thank you". That's it.
All good things come to an end. We won't be back.

Everything is absolutely perfect here except for their attitude towards my service dog. Although they of course allow service dogs as they are obligated to do so... I felt uncomfortable bc they were clearly annoyed. She is PSA,medical alert and I felt as though they just thought I was faking 8t bc of their attitudes about it. But other than that... this place is a definite 10 out of 10

Elmwood is a great resort, super convenient location, 1 mile to everything you need. Our 2 bedroom unit was clean, nicely decorated, and pretty up to date. Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and have everything you need. We had plenty of towels and linens for the pool and shower. The housekeeping was not done during our visit (off season) but we're available for anything you could need. We were glad not to have unneeded housekeeping so it was nice for us. They have a great online system to request more of anything you need and they drop it off to your door.The indoor pool was clean and well maintained. Perfectly heated and comfortable for swimming on those cold days.Location is about 10 minutes to Kennebunkport, 5 minutes or less to a grocery store, Dunkin across the street and Aroma Joe's about 5 minutes away.Overall, I highly recommend a stay here. I will be back for the regular season.Nearby activities: Close to everything. Short drive to stores and Cogdins donuts. Short ride to neighboring towns and about 30 minutes from Portland.

Great property and excellent rooms. The 2 floor design of the 2 bedroom was very cool and added space to a small footprint. The only complaint is the beds and pillows. They were dreadful.

I have stayed here over many years. They have a Special package, if you stay 2 nights, you get extra night Free. So you get a total of 3 nights for the cost of 2.My friend and I stayed for the 3 nights. We where happy with the room, 2 bedrooms with each a queen size mattress and very comfortable bedding plus extra pillows which she needs due to her Fibromyalgia, a nerve disease that is very painful. But she was told that the room had a Master bedroom room with it's own bathroom...It did NOT.She was told that the room was a Handicap room but there was NO Ramp into the room and second , the tub was NOT a Handicap shower. We were told only after explaining our displeasure to the front desk lady when CHECKING OUT that a ramp was available for the asking!!! (The person that my friend made the reservation with Knew she was HANDICAPPED!)We both were very disappointed with "S" that made all of the arrangements for us and had several opportunities to tell my friend that We only had to ask for the use of the handicap RAMP?!?!? He knew she was HANDICAPPED FROM THE BEGINNING, speaking with him several times. NOT HAPPY THELMA & LOUISE.Safety: NOT Handicap Compliant.
