I can't say enough wonderful things about Carolyn and North Star! She has helped me so much with my high energy, reactive, unconfident dog- from basic training, to beginner agilityz to just helping me understand him and bond with him more. Her training philosophy is very refreshing and you can truly see how passionate she is about it!

I as well as my dog love training in agility here. The head trainer really knows her stuff and has helped us earn an AKC title. Highly recommend North Star Dog Training!

Had my first agility class here today with Carolyn Fuhrer. I've owned dogs for 30 years, and Carolyn is one of the best instructors I have ever had. Period. She is disciplined, kind, gentle, supportive, and is a fantastically astute observer of the owner/dog interaction. She never makes you feel stupid, and knows how to use mistakes to teach and build confidence. She is a gifted instructor. I drive round trip about 2-1/2 hours for each class, and it is completely worth it. I am so very, very grateful to have found North Star Dog Training. I highly recommend this school.
