I am new to the area and Searsport Motor Company is nearby. The staff are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They had my car in and finished quickly. Excellent service. I will be using Searsport Motor Company for the foreseeable future.

I am not from the area was towing my boat through toward Acadia when my trailer broke apart leaving me in a tough situation. Luckily Chris, the owner of Searsport Motor Company, was passing by and stopped to help us. He used his skidsteer to lift our boat back up to allow us to fix the trailer underneath. He also went out of his way to go to the nearby tractor supply to get us the bolts we needed to fix everything.
I offered him cash for his time and he wouldn't accept a dime from me. He easily spent over an hour with us and was so kind and helpful. Fixing our trailer without his help would have taken much more time and it was already very late, so Chris saved us from a rough night in an area we're we had no connections or contacts for help.
The least I could do is leave this business a great review. When I tried to give him cash he said "absolutely not, we help people up here". So if you're looking to deal with good down to earth people, make sure to support this business that makes the surrounding community a great place. Thanks again, Chris!

This company scams you from the start by selling vehicles that are inspected in house. They force you to buy a warranty for $2000, they charge $1000 administration fee. Make sure you take the vehicle to a different Maine Inspection station and have it inspected before you sign any contracts. The vehicles will fall apart within the first month and you will have to invest thousands of dollars out of pocket as the warranty they sell doesn't cover but half the cost. They will not provide you with a loaner vehicle. They take advantage of people with low credit scores that have not many other options. Stay away! You would be better off walking in the snow than driving anything they sell. The owner and sales staff have no integrity and claim to be Christians and deceive their fellow brothers and local communities.

Bought a new to me car on September 27th. Discussed in detail with Monty before I drove down. He had held the car for me. He remembered our conversation, needed no reminders. We did business just as discussed, and he was efficient with the paperwork. It was a very easy transaction. It's early days, but, thus far, I'm happy with the car. It was very clean, and it seems to be reliable. I did have a little rubber piece of weather stripping drop off and brought it in. The mechanic took care of it right away, no question, no charge. All in all, just the way buying a car should be. Thanks Searsport Motor Company!

I had called about a car I wanted and was led to believe I could get it. I drove all the way to Searsport only to find it had been sold out from under me. Also the loan company that approved me for a car here told me I was approved for a Kia. That is not the car I wanted and the person who handled the supposed sale knew I wanted the Toyota Corolla, the car that was sold out from under me. I don't know what is going on here, but buyer beware.

I just wanted to recognize their wonderfully friendly customer service, even if I am an idiot who made an appointment and showed up to the wrong place and didn't even realize until it was too late. It's been one of those weeks.

I have a 2011 Prius that was having noisy brakes. Had a rare day off and Searsport Motor was able to get me right in and do the repair the same day. Fair prices, great work and super friendly service. Derek was super nice.
