This store had vegan marshmallows! We stopped at Walmart, Hanford and Shaws, no luck but this little store got them and totally saved the day!

Just moved to Raymond and am very grateful to have this shop here. Great wince selection, great condiments and speciality foods as well as very good basics such as local breads, new england cheeses etc. I have tried their prepared foods for takeout but will soon. Prices are at the higher end of the scale but quality and service are excellent.

Need something before hitting the lake, hosting at the cottage or arriving as the best guest and Good Life has you covered. Dine in or dine out. We saw lots of pasta salads, noodle dishes, caprese and other salads that would be great to share around a table. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly options. They are also fully stocked with snacks, cheeses, a small selection of fresh produce and a really well curated beer and wine list. The other attention grabber when you walk in: pies. The premade meals had a nice flavor variety (we picked up pesto tortellini salad and a peanut noodle, and there are lots of options for outdoor seating.

Friendly staff, good prices on baked goods, delicious food. I've driven past this place so many times, but finally was able to stop in. I will definitely be going back, worth the trip. Great wine selection as well.

Ive gone there for years, even as a child. I receieved a no trespass with no word from the owner and no explanation. Appreciate the gesture.

The Ruebens are always on point. You have to try the raspberry pie, it's the best I've ever had!

Used to love this place but ever since Covid they have gone down hill drastically… they need to go back to making fresh sandwiches because the grab and go ones are horrible.

I’ve been coming here for years every time I visit Raymond and have always loved the food and the vibe. The food is still amazing, but the new packaging for the sandwiches and salads is just so much single use plastic. I can’t in good conscience buy food here anymore. If the packaging was more sustainable, this place would deserve 6 stars.

Purchased a strawberry rhubarb pie there today. Couldn’t find one strawberry in it, and the rhubarb was hard. I used to buy pies there all the time and hadn’t been in for a few years. Hopefully this was just one bad pie.

Our home suffered some damage, and while that's being repaired, we've had to eat out for basically every meal. Good Life has historically been great and I've been a customer for YEARS. They changed how they do take-out during the pandemic, and it's all grab and go now. Which is fine for most of the world; they have a great selection and their food is delicious. Unfortunately, I have a food allergy that is bad enough that I have to be extremely careful about how my food is prepared.
I've tried to order food a day ahead of time since they changed the way their food is offered. If I didn't think of it ahead of time, I just didn't eat there. But with the situation with my kitchen, I've been forced to try and get food the same day on several occasions. SOMETIMES that's fine, and the staff has been pleasant. SOMETIMES they tell me to just grab food there, I re-explain the allergy, and they agree. SOMETIMES they straight-up tell me I do NOT have to order the day before because of the allergy. ONE TIME they asked me to speak with the person who I believe is the owner, and he was a complete jerk. Sorry for trying to support your business, dude. ANOTHER time they acted annoyed when I tried to have a standing order for the entire week to make it easier for them, and asked me to just order one sandwich every day for the next day. Fair enough. Today they were totally rude, said no, and hung up. I understand, they can be SWAMPED. But if there was any consistency, I wouldn't have even asked.
PLEASE JUST GET YOUR STAFF ON THE SAME PAGE.
Their food is great and they are basically the only option in town. I will still eat there, I don't really have a choice. This issue won't affect 99% of their customers. But your locals are important, and the amount of beer we've purchased there alone could keep you in business.
