I had never been to this pharmacy before, and only picked it because my daughter needed antibiotics and it was open until 8 PM while our regular pharmacy was closed. Honestly, my expectations were low for a grocery store pharmacy downtown.
Instead, the efficient staff handled our very complicated set of prescriptions (ear drops, two different antibiotics, an inhaler and more) efficiently - working directly with Urgent Care to find an acceptable alternative to one of the meds they were out of.
Importantly, they did all of this even though it was five minutes from their closing time. Not only were they not put out by the timing, they couldn't have been kinder or more sympathetic. They even sent us on our way with extra syringes to handle the different antibiotic doses.
In an era when service at many pharmacies has slipped dramatically, this one stood out in a big way. 100% will patronize them again, and can't thank them enough.

professionale Quality of Care from well-trained Pharmacy! The kindness and understanding of the well trained, caring, and professionalism is unequaled in my adult life. With a recent medical mistake on my Blood Pressure Medications, I was able to walk to visit this pharmacy and be greeted with caring and kindness.
I recently learned that I am allowed to waive out of automated, online information systems. Yeah! Freedom to be human and NOT A LAB RAT!

Every time I call they have an attitude and they don’t say goodbye or confirm anything they just hang up. EVERY single time. Worst customer service. Would NOT recommend.

Very bad service. Scheduled Rx pickup, had to wait 2 days. Arrived on time and was told to come back in 2 days. Can't phone to pharmacy, always get recording that says that they are to busy to answer, call back later. I am going to find another pharmacy.

The customer service at this pharmacy is horrible. I'm appalled that these people call themselves professionals. I have been trying to get a hold of my medication for over a month, it's been on back order and hard to get. I completely understand that is not the staffs fault, but I have been calling (they don't answer their phones) and leaving messages (they do not get back to you) for a month. If you want to speak to anyone, you have to literally go all the way to the pharmacy which is super inconvenient. So today I went in and asked them if they had my medication back in stock. They told me no and they won't for a while, but they did have it 2 weeks ago. Since I've been trying to get this medication for a month, I was very upset to hear they had it 2 weeks ago. So I asked "why wasn't I notified?" The woman seemed like she didn't really know what to say so I then asked "so is it just first come first serve?" To which she said yes. Seems like a crazy policy for a pharmacy to have but okay. I understand you can't notify everyone waiting for a medication, but you don't answer your phones and respond to voicemails. What am I supposed to come into the pharmacy every single day and ask for my prescription?? Obviously as this is a frustrating situation, I am noticeably frustrated but I'm not being hostile or a Karen. I ask the woman helping me why they don't answer their phones so I could call and ask instead of having to come all the way in. At this point some other old white lady with blonde hair pops her head out from behind the computer, gives me a look of disgust and comes prancing over rude and matter of fact "we have more phone lines then employees" sounds like a you problem. You're a business, figure it out. At this point I'm walking away because I'm trying to play nice and she mentions something about how they get back to people when they can, to which I told her no they don't, as they've never gotten back to me once in the month I've been calling. She was extremely unpleasant and rude. She approached me in a very hostile manner from the second she joined the conversation. I called my doctors office to switch pharmacies after the unprofessionalism I was met with here, and the man I was speaking to informed me another patient also went into this pharmacy today and had a very similar experience with the staff being rude. Interesting. I have never left a bad review for any business in my life, but this was ridiculous.

This pharmacy is the best. The pharmacist are so friendly, call you if they are out of something and are queer friendly. It’s unfortunate that they are obviously the most used pharmacy in Portland because they are often out of things and then I have to go to a different pharmacy that isn’t as good! So helpful, so fast and always friendly. I’ve never been more passionate about a pharmacy but this one does rule.

Literally the worst pharmacy, a bunch of unintelligent morons running this place. Every time I pick up a prescription it's a hassle. Don't waste your time. Switching after another ridiculous wait after calling ahead. Two months ago they couldn't figure out my PA and said my insurance didn't exist, when it was a New perfectly normal policy. Hassle after hassle and zero accountability.

This has been our go to pharmacy for 20 plus years and I am saddened to say it has gone downhill and we are changing. I am someone who has a chronic/terminal illness and medications sometimes need to be ordered. They never have the medications in stock. I get that, no big deal. The problem is it then becomes our responsibility (the customer) to follow up on when/how to get it. There is no follow up and no responsibility on their part. The staff previously friendly and community oriented are now rude, condescending and downright offensive. Laura, one of the associates, is particularly culpable. Made my wife cry when she was simply following up on a medication that still wasn't available. The usual response is "call back later". So many pharmacies to choose from there is no need to tolerate this type of service. Their online services and customer app are useless. Oh and to add insult to injury prepare to wait on a long single file line that sometimes snakes out the supermarket door for about 30-45 minutes even to as a simple question. It's like something out of a dystopian sci fi film. Moving to Amazon pharmacy with home delivery.

It felt great to be treated like a human being at this Pharmacy. I had an out-of-state paper script for pain meds to combat severe chronic pain that was given to me before my move to Maine. Every other pharmacy in the city presumptively treated me like an addict and wouldn't even tell me if they carried the medicine that had been prescribed to me - they said my doctor had to call before they'd even tell me if they could fill the script! It was alarming! I assume there must be a huge issue with opioid abuse here in this area, but people still need to be treated with respect and dignity. Tacuma helped me out with filling my prescription and was an absolute joy to deal with - kind, funny, affable, and caring.

If i can give zero i will. They are so slow. I am currently pregnant and has GD. They got my prescription 3 days ago and can give it because they need to verify the dosage to doctor. They have not call the doctor till today when my husband complain. And ofcourse no doctor as its the weekend. They will just tell u to go to the ER if its an emergency. You tell them your sugar 156 and they say its not that “emergency yet”. this is not the first time they delay important medicine on me. Whatever happen to me because of their lack of service. They better get ready to get this complain higher places. Very disapointed

Tonight after a long day between multiple urgent care clinics and finally an ER visit we had some prescriptions to fill. Finding most of Portland’s pharmacies close at 6 or 7, and frankly having frustrating service in the past from these, I changed my pharmacy to Hannaford. Wow, the right thing to do! The Forest street Hannaford’s staff were incredible! It was nearly closing time but they treated me like the first customer of the day. The clerk was quick, respectful and moved the line along (“we have one last portion to fill— 10 minutes”) and the pharmacist came out twice with questions, a less expensive option and thoughtful concerns about dosing. I am a nurse of 39 years— this was exceptional pharmacy practice! Thank you! Goodbye Walgreens and CVS!
