Had a very pleasant experience staying at Captain's Quarters for the first time this past weekend. We stayed in Suite #2, which was spotless and a decent size for two couples or a family with kids. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances (fridge, stove, toaster, microwave, etc) and the basics as far as cookware too. Staff were friendly & welcoming and checkout was easy. You need to explicitly ask if you want your sheets changed otherwise they don't enter the room if you are out and your dog is there (makes sense). All in all, it was nice to be in a spot that is accepting of dogs and doesn't make things overly complicated either. Would recommend and will certainly be back. Cheers from Montreal.

Great first time in Ogunquit, ME! They had cute metal bowls for the pups ! Took the pups to Wells. Each, about 10 min away, had lots of tasty food and wonderful walks! The room is perfect for 2 adults and 2 dogs! It has a fridge and microwave for leftovers! I would come here again!! Highly recommend.
Rooms: Perfect size!
Nearby activities: Wells beach where dogs can roam the beach on a leash all day! Plenty of restaurants to choose from to eat and a wonderful location to take walks!
Walkability: Lots of sidewalks and places to walk to!
Food & drinks: You can get breakfast, lunch, ice cream, dinner, and visit local breweries all within either a 10 min drive or walk!

Of course we love Captain’s Quarters but more importantly so did our pooch Bella! Her first vacation was a success. Room was clean and those bed linens! We had a bit of a TV problem and Missy came right down from Gazebo and took care of it. We are coming back with our pooch in tow. Thank you Pete and Missy! See you soon Scott and Bruce

Cozy little motel rooms on Route 1 in Ogunquit.
If you are visiting Ogunquit and think of a motel as just a place to sleep when you aren't sightseeing then this is the place for you.
They have some of the lowest rates in the area but you still get a clean room and a comfortable bed. There are only 6 rooms and we stayed in one with a queen sized bed.
The room had a comfortable bed, A/C, small flat screen TV, small fridge, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and free WiFi.
The bathroom was nice/clean and the shower was great.
The location is nice because they are within easy walking distance from several restaurants and close to downtown Ogunquit without being in the middle of the traffic slowdowns that happen during the summer.
Note that there is no office on-site. The office is at the Gazebo Inn just up the street.

The Captains Quarters has been our go to place in Ogunquit for a few years. They are fairly close to downtown Ogunquit and offer dog friendly lodging which is a must for us. We usually stay in a 2 bedroom suite with a nice sized kitchen and living area. They also have 1 bedroom suite and single rooms as well. Prices are reasonable and the reservation and check-in process is easy.

Nice cozy little Inn. A short drive to anything in Ogunquit and walking distance to a couple of nice places (e.g. Food For Thought). The people that run the Inn are very friendly, we got a chance to chat with the owner while he was there doing some gardening. The place is also very dog friendly.

Stayed for the weekend to attend a wedding. Was nervous that a dog friendly place would smell like dogs had stayed there. This place was awesome. Very clean. I did not smell any prior dogs. Neither did my dog. It's the perfect place for a getaway with your family, including the dog. Hooked up my pet cam to their Wi-Fi and was able to check up on my fur baby while we went out. This was my first time bringing my dog and it was great.

This was an amazing place to stay with my dog. Clean, short drive to beaches, a dog park, Mount Agamenticus, town, stores, and in walking distance to a few eateries. It is about a 15 minute walk to town as well. The units were clean and the kitchenette equipped. Outdoor area with tables, a grill, smoking spot, and pet rest area. Rooms were a nice size for a solo traveler or couple. Staff were friendly! Towels plush, water pressure good, A/C and heat easy to use, WiFi, cable, and all appliances/kitchen supplies needed to prepare meals if you'd like. The area is lovely! GLBT & dog friendly. The staff were responsive and attentive. Peter is genuinely kind and courteous. We stayed during the off season in early March which allowed for full access to dog friendly beaches & the Marginal Way. Reasonably priced. Some spots were open, not all, but it didn't matter since the outdoors was our primary destination for this trip. I will be back! Thank you for hosting us!

Could not have been a better experience. Perfect for bringing your pet on vacation everything was within walking distance. However if you do wish to drive the parking is very easy getting in and getting out, no crazy Walk to the car from the room. Clean rooms, Very friendly staff, will be returning as soon as possible.

Captain's Quarters is at the top of our places to.stay when we decide to bring our boys with us! Only thing that would make it better is if it was right off of the beach?
