We had Andrew come by and help us! I called at 2pm on a Sunday and he came to help me by 630pm. Grateful to now have a working toilet, shower and sink! Highly recommend! Thank you Andrew!

I had issues with the toilets in my condo. It was a small job and feared I wouldn't find anyone who would come within a month. Sgt. Smith's was recommended and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Andrew scheduled a call within 24 hours. He was efficient and knowledgeable and was honest about how to avoid major repairs vs. replacement of toilets. I'm happy to hear that they also will do shower and bath renos in the future. I would highly recommend this business.

Turns out our basement problem has been solved! The only plumber I called (I called ten plumbing companies that advertised 24 hours service) who really is 24 hours service came out at 10 pm last night and figured out that our new sump pump had a defective float mechanism. Great guy who used to be an intelligence analyst in the Marines. Hence the name of his company Sargent Smith's Drain Cleaning Services. The owner is Micah Smith. 207-432-9378. Great service and very fair pricing.It turns out the Zoeller pumps you can buy at Home Depot are not as good as the Zoeller pumps a plumber buys at a plumbing supplier that are made entirely of cast iron and have a more reliable float mechanism. Like the way Koehler makes "big box store" Home Depot versions of their bath products that are different and not as good. The float valve on the Zoeller we had in there was defective so it was running every 20 seconds and eventually overheating/ stopping every few hours... flooding our basement... bc it was only running on the backup float which has a very short run cycle. He also put in an alarm alongside the new pump that will alert us with a smoke detector type loud beeping noise if there is an issue with water in the basement. Couldn't be more pleased.

We had a pipe spring a leak in our basement this evening. I called at 7pm and we had a great guy here, Will, by 7:45. He had great communication, explained every step of the way and was wicked thorough. And for a last second emergency call the price was awesome.Solid 10/10 for Will and the Sgt. Smith crew! Def calling you guys first if I need a plumber.

Called and Micah got right back to me. Will came out and fixed my two drain issues, he is polite, efficient, cleaned up after himself. Did a great job! Would not hesitate to call again if the need arises.

We had a bunch of trouble getting anybody to come out and help us with a slow leak, but then we found Sgt. Smiths and thank goodness. They were prompt returning our inquiry and getting out to take a look at our issues. Once onsite, they were able to identify that an entire section of piping was on the verge of failing the same way. They were able to give estimates for various ways we could go about fixing it. I appreciated this transparency. They explained the pros and cons well. It ended up being a two person job done by Andrew and Will. They did quality work on time and as promised. We are very happy with the results and service. Two thumbs up, would use again.

1000% recommend! I was in a bind and another well known plumbing company came out and gave me an outrageous estimate for a service. I was recommended to contact sgt. smiths and they came out the same day. Not only did they do the job well, but the technician was extremely friendly and I was charged hundreds of dollars less than what the other company quoted me. Thank you for what you guys do! Will definitely be using them in the future!

Absolutely phenomenal company and service. Had a tub drain fail and leak into our first floor. They were here the next day, looked for the issue, and replaced the tub drain- fast and quality work for a reasonable price. Will definitely call again if or when we need!

They were able to schedule us quickly. Jasper took the time to explain what the problems were and detail different solutions that were the best fit for us. He told me and showed me what he was doing. Triple checked the work to be sure everything was functional and made suggestions on other things we may benefit from.
