Nice little bait shop. Owner is very helpful and knowledgeable. Not the most extensive inventory but has basic fishing inventory and bait is always available. Will shop there again.

While visiting Maine and looking for some intel on good fly fishing spots, I stopped in at Naples Bait & Tackle. It's a small, rustic shop that has a lot of small town charm. The owner was very helpful and friendly, and he was quick to offer local tips for an out-of-stater. He showed me several public access spots where I could park and wade into local rivers, gave me a complete run-down on which fly patterns were hot and where to use them, and provided a free Maine Inland Fishing Laws booklet. The shop-tied flies that I bought were high-quality and fairly priced. I didn't have time to do a lot of shopping, but the shop's website says they have used glass and bamboo rods, so I will definitely go back to check those out. It was a great experience.

I stopped by here to see if someone could help me fix my spool. Not only did the super friendly guy working fix the spool, he taught me a few things and then insisted that I not pay him for something that was so quick and easy for him. Eventually we agreed I’d pay him enough to cover the coffee he was about to go out and grab! Great store and service highly recommend

Had many questions about lake trout fishing in the local lakes. Dave spent the time with me and explained all aspects of fishing these waters. He is extremely knowledgeable in all types of fishing. Make it a point to stop in to speak to Dave and learn something. Support your local tackle shops.

Great guy he is a down to earth guy that always help you out with fishing and always has the best bait I will and go to get my bait at his shop if you are here on a trip in Naples Maine and you want to go fishing I would suggest going to his bait shop
