This is a successful and growing business. We knew the former owners who sold to Safe Harbor, a multinational company. The new owners have invested substantial amounts of money in new storage buildings along with the required equipment and facilities. I know they are attracting new boat owners to the area and providing good jobs to local people.

After dealing with a couple different yards, I could not be happier with my experience with the level of professionalism, knowledge and great communication with the staff at Great Island. The Great Island crew is setting the benchmark for how a full-service yard should be run.

High end, professional and FRIENDLY marina with extremely protected slips and moorage. Highly recommended. Just a few minutes from Cooks Corner in Brunswick for supplies, eateries, etc.

This is our new go to Marina in Maine. We are from Colorado and came in with our new AB Oceanus that has fuel venting issues and everyone was amazingly helpful, especially given all the big boats that were getting worked on and filled at the dock. Anika and others were super helpful and knowledgeable down at the dock and their mechanic, Dennis, was incredibly skilled and helped troubleshoot the issue. The reception and admin staff were also friendly and accommodating. We recommend them highly.

Have kept boat here for 30+ years. Wouldn't move anywhere else. First class friendly crew,... a beautiful place in a beautiful bay. Come and see, you won't want to leave.

A great boatyard. All the buildings and property are clean. The staff and management are knowledgeable, thoughtful and courteous. The work is top notch, we had everything from mechanical to paint and rigging work done and it was all excellent. Their pricing is competitive and their work is outstanding. I brought a demanding client here who was very impressed.Great all round experience.
