On two different occasions now I have been treated with a very poor attitude from 2 different employees.Today my family and I went to get a Christmas tree; my son (only 12)Spilt hot cider on him and instead of the cashier asking if he was okay and offering some napkins, she stood there looking at him with a smug look. When I made a comment to my partner that it was rude of her, instead of rectifying the situations, she decided to mock me.Very disappointed as we live close by and would’ve loved to continue to buy their product(s)Do better.

I have never had such a bad experience! These folks “Do Not” Stand Behind Their Product. So much for your warranty sign. Equally troubling, the women at the registers were very rude and unprofessional!!

I bought $446. worth of shrubs last year all zone 4. All but one of them made it through the winter. I planted them according to their directions including buying the compost they suggested, and kept them well watered. I tried to return the dead plant today, but they wouldn't take it back, saying it was still alive. It doesn't have any new growth and is shriveling up. I'll shop elsewhere from now on. The plant on the right is still alive, the left plantis dead.

They have a pretty good selection of healthy plants and gardening supplies prices for some things are a little high but the overall quality and service is worth it.

I was so very pleased to discover thatO’Donals now has an in-house florist—Apian Flower Co. and the wonderful Matt Herrick who helped me tremendously. I am in Florida and thought I had to go through an online florist but I really wanted someone local who knows the area. Matt was the best. I highly recommend them.

Hit or miss with service. The good is they have a huge selection. The bad is some of the blunt officious staff. I've had staff there be super helpful and friendly and I have also experienced outright rudeness. Have ordered thousands of dollars worth of plants and trees. Issues with tagging. Left a tree out in the bright sun and it suffered severe leaf burn when delivered. Last year there were diseased wilted leafless eastern redbuds tagged at 500 bucks for sale. Basically a large tired twig for 500. A kind staff member agreed that it should not even be on the lot. When you call to inquire about plants (that are listed in their online inventory) they sort of insist you pre buy without seeing the plant and put it "on hold" ....it all feels a bit salesy and desperate for a garden center. "We can take your order right now over the phone!" I asked what taking an order entails. The answer - a payment. If you demur and say I am just inquiring then you get a cooler reception. A kind person offered to call back on availability after I said I wanted to see the plant before paying over the phone, but right after I hung up I received a callback from an official person at the center demanding I pay if I wanted to receive a call on availability. I had to explain that I don't need a call that I could just as easily go to the center which I planned to anyway. Lesson learned. Don't call to inquire availability just drive all the way to Gorham and take your chances. Pretty strange response. Estabrooks on the other hand took my call told me what's available and said they would call when the plants I was looking for came in. Did not ask for prior ordering, deposits or payments. Just good friendly customer service. Disappointed in 0'donals.

Got some houseplants there today and they had some amazing finds and they didn't even have their latest order in yet. New favorite houseplant store. Great prices on some rare plants. $40 philodendron pink princess and white knight in a 4"pots. Saw a lot of plants that you generally only see over priced online. And all of the staff were very nice and helpful.

Make sure you babysit the worker when picking out your Christmas tree this year, I was given the wrong tree and the worker tied it onto my car himself (iv never tied a tree down before) and they’re only solution is for me to risk doing it wrong and try to bring it back myself. The worker even took a picture of my family in-front of the tree we chose-literal picture proof and the only solution they offer is to try to haul this tree back on top of my car myself when it was their worker who put it on my car in the first place.

Beautiful place. Alot of Bonsai to choose from just what I wanted to see. Alot of different ages from little guys just starting out to older 5 yea road already trained trees. Lots of bonsai pots to choose from also and even saw some tools! The place to go for bonsai trees
