As a woman who's often felt intimidated in auto repair shops, I can't say enough good things about my experience at White Lightening.
The staff here are genuinely fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. They took the time to listen to my concerns without condescension or being rushed out. It is refreshing to find a place where I can ask questions and get straightforward answers.
The service has always been top-notch. I have had emergencies and regular maintenance both completed here, and not only have they completed the work quickly and at a fair price, they also went above and beyond by fully inspecting my car and letting me know what else might be on the horizon so I can plan. They also work around my crazy schedule! I get a detailed breakdown of all the costs and there are never any surprises. It's such a relief to find a garage that values honesty and integrity!
Overall, my experience at White Lightening has been exceptional. I highly recommend them to anyone - especially women - who are looking for a trustworthy garage. I'll definitely be returning for all my future work and maintenance.

Had a wheel bearing go while traveling through, they were able to get me in right away, fantastic crew. Very open with the whole process and answered any questions I had. The folks here don't just take the part off and slap a new one on, everything is well cleaned before it is put back together. Very happy to see a shop not focused on the bottom line, weather helping the client the best they can. Their care is definitely shown in the workmanship and their interactions with guests. I was waiting at the waiting room where their was even coffee offered!!, and let me tell you every person that came in was more then well taken care of and everything explained up front with out sugar coating one bit. If you are in the area or just passing through like myself this is the place to go!

Very good garage josh(mechanic) and the lady working there have been extremely helpful they both have shown that they care about me and their car. They also offered me a free cup of coffee when my tire blew, Josh even had a tire that could go on my car! He charged me very little for (25$) for it and it was easily a 150$ tire that was barely used definitely recommend

ZERO STARS.... Terrible customer service! Didn't Honor their work that was done 2 weeks ago!!! Defective Coils. POOR Customer relations!! I had explained to the manager and the mechanic that it was the same issue as 2 weeks ago that had been worked on by them.. He didn't want to listen to a women that knows the car.... Instead he spun off at 40 miles an hour on there pot hole drive area to realize it didn't need to be driven and just needed to check the codes. Defective Coils. Luckily I found another garage in Bangor that was able to help and get me on the road. Tony at West Gate on Union is very good.

These guys rocked. I had an emergency exhaust failure and call it in. They literally had cars on all lifts and still got me good to go within a hour. Highly recommend this shop for all your work. Then even made me a cup of coffee. ?

White Lightning is the place to go. I had my vehicle undercoated there ,they did a salt wash before the coating. No other place had cleaned under the vehicle before doing the undercoating . Thank you all for your great service

I'm a resident of glenburnand this is was my first time here. Unfortunately my car would be too much to fix, but they were honest and we're very clear about what needed to be done. My SO is going to have his Cooper worked on next week. I'm glad to have someone local, and we will definitely be back for future business

Fantastic! I highly recommend White Lightening, they are friendly, fast, and efficient. They got my car in quickly, fixed the problem and then actually when asked last minute to look at a couple of light bulbs out and if they could fix a possible wiring problem they were able to fix them the same day and also inspect the vehicle. I highly recommend White Lightening for all your car repair needs. They will be my go to car repair shop from now on. Thank you boys, you did a great job. ❤️❤️❤️

Cannot say enough good things about this shop! They got us in right away when we were in a pinch. The gentleman was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He serviced our vehicle and had us out of there in no time. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Josh and his staff were great at servicing our older RV even though we have kept it in good condition. Was hard to find a place to get it inspected and a mechanic this year to do any work due to either companies not doing older rvs or no longer doing any eve or being short on mechanics, etc.Josh came and replaced our alternator where our motor home was as battery not holding a charge. It was a very hot day and yet he took time to do the work outside. We then took the camper to his garage. He then replaced the manifolds and a few other parts. Had the motor home ready in a few days. My husband and I recognize working on mechanical issues on a large camper is hard. I appreciate that White Lighting went above and beyond so we can now use it this year.He also serviced our vehicle. We had recently had a brake job done at the dealership and it was not done correctly. He sent pictures so we could pass them on and have the dealership repair the damage. We would not have known this without their knowledge.Josh and his staff were very responsive in their communication, knowledgeable in their information and very honest. Their rates were very reasonable. We would definitely recommend white lightning and look forward to having them do more work for us on our vehicles in the future.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement
