Not sure who this John Luyrink is who gave a 1 star (it’s a small community and I’ve certainly never met him), but this gym rocks. David and the other staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I’ve never been stronger. My mom loves the gym too so it’s great for all ages.

I have been going to the Distance Project for more than a year. Everyone is very friendly and inviting. I have improved my strength dramatically and also improved my running times! David has really encouraged me to push my limits and it has helped me to grow as a person and as an athlete.

Not your average gym! The Distance Project is a community. Coaches David, Lex, and Lizz are all amazing at what they do and with their positive outlook and expert training, At age 45 I have been able to improve my mobility, strength, and recovery. I originally joined to train for an 80-mile trail race but have realized that the true race is being able to stay active well into my senior years. Thank you Distance Project team. I am proud to be a part of this fantastic group of people and look forward to our future.

I first entered The Distance Project with the goal of getting back to my pre-parenthood level of fitness. I couldn't attend the most recently scheduled Runners Workshop and when I contacted David, he was willing to put on a mini workshop for me and a small group of others who were interested. I was excited for the opportunity and it did not disappoint! David and Lex tailored the mini workshop for our needs and interests and the information on breathing, strengthening, stretching, and form was excellent. David and Lex were helpful and supportive and motivating. I live 2 hours away from the gym, or else I'd have a membership in a heartbeat! This training was exactly what I needed as a runner trying to improve my skills and extend the lengths of my runs! The workshop was the best gift I could have given myself this season, and The Distance Project is a great gift to the running and fitness community! Thanks so much!!
