Truly the best. My dogs loves them and so do we. They are actively invested in our dog's wellbeing and have come through in a pinch for us time and time again. Thank you Coastal Dog Family!

Coastal Dog is amazing and the only boarding facility that we trust leaving our dogs with. They are selective -- and must be in order to manage multiple dogs carefully and safely in an open concept facility. We trust them in their ability to assess dog behavior, monitor and keep safe our pets and have been using them for about 8 years now. I wouldn't normally post a review - to be very honest - because they are already sought after and so it is challenging to sometimes get a reservation--- but was surprised to see the low reviews and this business is, very literally, one of the best in the business. No business is perfect and of course won't please everyone all the time -- but this business really deserves 5 stars.

Our dog loves it here so much!!!! He always jumps out of the car and runs inside to see his friends. I feel good knowing he is being loved while I’m gone! Highly recommended!

We have been using Coastal Dogs for overnight boarding for several years. Up until last October we, and the dogs, were very happy with the care and service. In fact, Coastal Dogs deserves a 5 star rating for that period. After our last visit we received a letter from the owner telling us that one of our dogs whined and barked all night and that he wasn't welcome back unless he was on sedatives. One of the reasons we selected Coastal Dogs originally was that we understood that the dogs would have human companionship during the night and not be relegated to a kennel/cage as is typical with other facilities. What we learned now was that the inside house area is used for smaller dogs only and our 90 lb hound mix was not welcome at night. Apparently he was unhappy with that arrangement. We are unwilling to sedate our dog for the convenience of Coastal Dogs... especially when the solution of letting him in with people is an easy fix. Being given a letter by another staff member and not having the courtesy of a conversation with the owner is equally unacceptable. We will sadly be taking our pets and business elsewhere.

Absolutely ridiculous to suggest The Coastal Dog doesn't keep all dogs inside the house at night as Dave F. suggests - a complete lie. This is precisely why dogs who can't settle down and are loud are asked to either try again with a sedative or to choose another venue. Dogs who are loud all night keep the whole house awake all night - staff and other dogs. Dave should take his dog to a traditional kennel where dogs are caged and that is not staffed overnight and no one cares is his dog is anxious and barking all night. The Coastal Dog is not that way and it's guests need to be able to settle down and get comfy in the evenings with the overnight staff. Whether the dogs choose to sleep on a dog bed, people mattress, or comfy upholstered chair, everyone deserves a good nights rest at The Coastal Dog.

My dog loves this daycare. The staff is fabulous and the pups have multiple places to play or chill out inside and out with water options.
