“Ames is a real gem of a small town hardware store. They always have whatever you need and always go out of their way to help you. We always go here rather then going to the big box stores.”
“A cool little pet store in downtown Boothbay Harbor. They've got a little bit of everything but don't expect to go in and find all the things you can get at a larger box store. They have really great options and even a few things for cats. My favorite is their used tennis ball bin! $1 a ball for your furry friend”

The store gets very busy and checkout lines were long. Management was working to remedy that situation.
Produce runs low after weekends but there’s always someone working to replenish product.
Meat department was well stocked as was the deli. Specialty areas are an added plus (olive bar, cheeses, seafood,liquor)
Ample parking but not a lot of space if you’re towing.
We’re here every year for 4 weeks and Hannafords is the place to show.”

“Like everyone I suppose, there are moments the lines have been challenging and the remodeling of the entire store, including the pharmacy, has impacted the employees as much as us customers. In the midst of all of that, the crew behind the counter has gone out of their way to assist me with a number of medication related issues at lifted a fair amount of stress off my shoulders.
