It has been terrible since the Dixfield office took over Mexico. We had great carriers in Mexico. They cared. They took care of your mail. They took pride in their work. They believed in customer service. Not Dixfield.My packages get left in the rain, dropped on the ground (and left to sit in the puddle), and worst of all, this is less than two feet from a porch where they would be safe.I have multiple videos from my security system where the mail carrier that has been assigned to our neighborhood neglects and abuses our mail. Not that you're able to complain... The 800 number takes you nowhere when you call it. Their hours are not convenient for anyone with a real job either, and the post master isn't in on Saturdays. I hate that we lost the Mexico post office when Mexico is twice as big as Dixfield and should have it's own. Our postal service has declined so dramatically that it's embarrassing. On several occasions, the daily digest showed the mail I was supposed to receive that day and I didn't get anything delivered at all. A few times I never received it at all (but fortunately it was mail I didn't need). I even watched this carrier park in front of my house and scroll through his phone for a half hour one day instead of delivering mail.

I have been using Dixfield Post Office for many years. I have always had the best service from all the employees. Lee is always courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The carriers are always the same as well. The best service all around.

I have received cordial and efficient service--mostly from Lee. We moved to Dixfield fairly recently and love the fact that the lobby is open 24/7.

Im new to this area. I went in to mail out a package, needed a box and it didn’t take long to get the right size, however....I was then told I couldn’t use the tape and was told I had to either buy some or bring some from home. I wasn’t about to spend almost $4 for a small roll of tape. I’ve NEVER been to a PO that said I couldn’t use the tape to close a box! I’ve been to Kingfield, Farmington, Norridgewock, Waterville and Oakland. Always been able to use the tape. The man has no personality, everything you do is wrong. I just don’t get a welcomed vibe from him (Lee)

The gentleman name Lee is rude as can be. You call looking for assistance and you get nothing but horrible attitude. This man should not be working with people or post office. Misserable person with a misserable attitude.
