Paid this company by check. 6 months later they all me saying I did not pay them. They end up taking me to court for the money with interest. I had to take a day off from work to prove I made payment.

I was in Stonington staying at a friend's house (friend was not there). My car began making a sound that apparently was a bad wheel bearing. Every mechanic I called in Stonington was booked for weeks. I called Eaton Oil and they told me to come drop it off and they'd fit it in. When I arrived, I told them I hadn't been able to figure out a way to get back to Stonington (9 miles). The owner came from the back room and offered up his old Yukon for me to drive for the day. I'd never met any of these individuals yet they went above and beyond to help me out. One mechanic shared that he'd work overtime to make sure my vehicle was ready for me to leave the next day on time. Kindness and care and quality work was my experience. Thank you!

Great place. they did a great job on a big problem with my truck and for a very fair price. They also have a metal fabrication shop and have helped me out in a timely manner and for a fair price there too. They are pretty honest as well, they couldn't fix something on my truck and had no problem referring me to a place that could. Def the go-to place on the island.
