This US Cellular store is the ghetto of any US Cellular stores. I did buy a new phone while I was in the store because I didn’t feel like traveling to Bangor knowing what I know now I wish I had traveled to Bangor for a better sales experience on top of knowledge of different US cellular plans because I was told I was on a “old plan, but you can be updated.” The agent (was friendly) was more worried about making sure that he made a sale on a new phone, then getting my husband and I on the same plan and updating my name which I asked a few times about till finally giving up, understanding that he was the only associate working that day. The management team really should have more than one associate working to be answering phones and better customer service. I will take our business to Bangor again because it’s not worth the hassle going to this local one.

The website for the Bucksport, Maine store reads open until 5 pm..I arrived a few minutes before 4 pm to a closed sign on the door. The printed out sign read that the store was short on staffing. Another customer and I observed an employee inside who came to the door and told me that the business was closed. I explained the website hours and she told me that nobody will change it. The hours show the store to be open, two customers were present and the employee would not assist us. Staffing did not appear to be the issue at this time.

I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with UScellular Corporate's customer service that left me feeling disrespected and completely unsupported. Although my services were disconnected in error by UScellular Corporate and not the specific store, the way the phone call was handled when I reached out to inquire about the situation was highly unprofessional and aggravating.During the conversation, I must admit that I was feeling tense and frustrated due to the sudden disconnection of my services in the middle of important tasks. In an attempt to express my frustration, I mistakenly said, "You canceled my service," referring to the representative as the face of the company. However, instead of responding with empathy and working to deescalate the situation, the representative responded by screaming at me and abruptly ending the call. This kind of behavior is entirely unacceptable and showed a complete disregard for basic customer service standards.Seeking a resolution and an explanation for the disconnection, I decided to call back and speak with a manager. To my dismay, the same representative I had previously spoken to answered the call and informed me not to call back again. This response was shockingly unprofessional and demonstrated a lack of willingness to address the issue or offer any form of assistance. I was left feeling even more disheartened and unsupported.While I acknowledge that the initial service disconnection may have been a mistake on the part of UScellular Corporate, it is vital to emphasize that the focus of this review is the appalling customer service experience I encountered during my call. The representative's failure to show empathy, coupled with their decision to scream at me and hang up, showcases a complete disregard for their role in resolving customer concerns.It is deeply disappointing that UScellular Corporate has not provided adequate training and guidance to its representatives to handle difficult customer interactions with professionalism and empathy. As a loyal customer, I expected to be treated with respect, especially when seeking assistance regarding an error made by the company.I urge UScellular Corporate to address this matter seriously and take necessary steps to improve its customer service practices. Treating customers with courtesy and understanding, even during challenging situations, should be a fundamental aspect of any reputable company. The lack of professionalism and disrespect exhibited during my phone call reflects poorly on UScellular Corporate as a whole.In conclusion, my experience with UScellular Corporate's customer service was disheartening and frustrating. The unprofessional conduct of the representative I spoke with, including their screaming and subsequent refusal to provide assistance, was unacceptable. I hope this review serves as a reminder for UScellular Corporate to reevaluate its customer service approach and ensure that all representatives are properly trained to handle customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.

No one answers the phone. Don't bother calling. Slow service, overpriced phones. No Good deals, alot of added charges, long wait. Go to a US cell that cares, doesn't suck, save some time and money.

I went into the bucksport office to pay my bill because I didn't do something right online so I owed another 2 dollars and something and wouldn't let me do it. I was in the office for almost a half hour there was one person working and one other person In there. Not once in a half hour did the worker even acknowledge me never said " I'll be with you when I can" absolutely nothing!! Customer service is a thing of the past!! Never going in there again if humanly possible!!!Won't let me give it zero stars apparently!!

I’ve always had good luck with the employees over my 10 plus years with Bucksport US Cellular….aside from 1 incident, unfortunately, but the employee wasn’t there very long. Janelle usually helped me, before she transferred, and always did an excellent job. I’m not 100% satisfied with some of US Cellulars policies but that isn’t the agents fault, they can only do so much. All in all, though, our local staff does pretty well.

Oh my goodness! What lifesavers!! Somehow I had managed to get my cell so I could not do anything but text and call and I was supposed to be hiking all day with my pup..we went to see if they could help this frustrated almost in tears lady. Well they hadn't seen this before but they did a little research and BAM!! The Goddesses fixed it and I was THRILLED and on my way! They can fix anything! 1 million stars!

My mother, in her 60s was told by Jenelle that her phone was now an expensive paperweight after the DAY SHE BOUGHT IT she couldn't remember her pin. Simple factory reset was all it took. Looks like Jenelle is a piece of garbage. If you go to US Cellular in Bucksport and get this girl, ask for someone else. I'll be sharing on US Cellular Social media. Get the word out to get this person fired.
