I just had an appointment with LIZ! She is the absolute best and made sure that we had a plan at the beginning and communicated through the color and cut process! I had no confidence in my hair prior to seeing Liz and left feeling so great and good! I would recommend her to everyone she is the absolute best! Thank you so much Liz

My roommate called to make an appointment she was told no one wanted to cut her hair, "but it has nothing to do with race".Wtf is that?

hair dresser seemed kinda mean. i dont also feel like being judged at a hair place either which also seemed to happen. gave it two stars because the cut was decent. just not a good experience and ive been twice already.. not again i guess.

I was looking for a new hair salon and really appreciated all of the reviews that were left here, specifically about Liz P's work and kindness.
I booked an appointment with Liz P. (super easy online system-bravo!) and she DID NOT disappointment. She was thoughtful, asked a lot of questions about my hair, and executed the cut really well.
For context, she cut over 8 inches of my hair and had a specific shorter hair style. Liz was really thorough with questions and made sure I was happy with the results.
I also really enjoyed the conversation I had with Liz. She really loves her job and has a passion for hair.
I will be going to her from now on!

Best haircut I have had in almost 5 years! Can't say enough good things. Booking was super easy, same day appointment, and the staff were lovely. Anyone who knows me knows I take hair seriously and these folks fixed mine up good!

Waited for 30 minutes before being told the stylist I had booked the appointment with was running behind, but could see me if I returned in an hour. I wouldn't recommend to anyone who may not have time for anything more than the typical 15 minute wait or who cannot just return later that day at the salons convenience.

The hairdressers were kind, but did not know how to blow dry curly hair. My hair it’s not coily, and it’s not impossible to blow dry, but from the beginning I could tell she was having some difficulty managing my hair (didn’t even have clips strong enough to hold it, which made it so it kept falling and she would just skip doing a whole strand of hair). She went in with a straightener even before my whole hair was dry, so it was sizzling. It is so hard to be upfront at the moment, especially because she was a nice person, but I just wished she would’ve told me from the beginning she didn’t know how to do curly hair.I think what made me the most upset it’s that even after she passed the straightener, my hair is STILL damp. Like it’s so obvious she did not care to do small sections, and that is why my hair looks like a mess now.

I wanted a change for my hair after moving to Maine to attend college here and Bridget Murphy was absolutely SO GOOD at what she does!!! I was a bit particular about some small details I wanted but she nailed everything! I was so happy with how it turned out!! She’s super careful and intentional about her haircuts and styling!! Overall a wonderful human being:) Learned a few things about my hair type and what products works best on it! My new to go to hair salon in Brunswick ?

just got a terrific haircut by Charlotte Oh...exactly what I'd requested: a haircut that didn't look like I'd gotten a haircut--a sort of "touseled" look. Charlot is a pro and a pleasure to chat with. i recommend her--and Erin who cut my wife's hair today--and mine 6-7 weeks ago. Well worth the drive down to Brunswick!

Did not shampoo nor blow dry until I asked for. The hairdresser seemed to be more focused on the conversation next to us than cutting my hair. The haircut was not great. The hairdresser did not want to blow dry my hair initially but I didn’t want to walk out with damp hair so I asked for a blow dry. It was not a professional blow dry with style she literally just blew dry my hair. I was charged the price of “haircut and style.” It was not the kind of salon service I’ve had.You can clearly see how the hairdresser cut my hair from the pics. What a joke! Worst haircut I’ve ever had in my life. Avoid this place at all cost.

Haircut itself was fine, just not what I asked for. I expressed some nervousness because of my last hair cut experience. I went in for a trim, my hair was just about down to my butt, the hairdresser showed me how much was being taken off and took much more than that without really communicating thats what was happening. My hair is now a little below my shoulders. Will be visiting again, but next time I'll choose a different hairdresser who can hopefully walk me through what's going on a little better so I don't walk out with any surprises.Service: Haircut
