Very good (indie) movies. Terrible (grainy, diffused, gray colors) projection system. Hope this will be corrected with new owner.This comment may now be out of date. I understand the new owner has installed a better screen. I'll go check it out.Revisited the theater. The new screen is an improvement. No longer is there the grainy texture that diffused the light. The color, however is still too dark and gray. Shadows are not black, instead shadow areas in the image are pools of gray without detail. Perhaps the projector needs a stronger lamp. The new owner seems intent on upgrading the whole experience. I hope all these problems will soon be remedied.Recently attended. All is now remedied! Image great! Sound Great! Seating great! Thank you for all the improvements. We now have an excellent art house type theater in the neighborhood. Especially welcome now that the larger commercial theaters are closing.

Love this place! Been going here since I was a teenager! I love that they play newer indie films but also play the classics sometimes as well. I love when they play vintage horror movies in October! This place is nostalgic for me.Tip: Sign up for the membership! It's affordable and you get perks!

Excellent film choices, friendly staff, and the best popcorn around (with a ton of free seasonings, including nutritional yeast!) They also serve some alcohol.I've only been once, but the love the staff have for film is obvious.It's my new favorite cinema, and I'll be going back often.
