Went to get couple tanks of propane filled. I had only used them one time previously so I didn't know the proper procedure. Girl inside was completely flustered trying to figure out what I wanted. They expect me to know how to go about doing this how I'm supposed to know I have no idea. So I questioned the first girl and the one outside on procedure they both very hostile. So wouldn't you know both tanks were rejected.there was nothing wrong with the tanks as my one previous visit they filled both. So now it's 630 pm I have no heat for the night because they were flustered by me having to ask a few questions . All I wanted to do was figure out were I had to drop the tanks and who I paid. I guess that is to much to ask.i forgot the best part as I stood outside waiting to get my tanks rejected I got to listen to the two employees have a conversation about. She said she was outside when I pulled up. That's untrue. Someone was walking up about 60 yards away as I went in to ask what to do. Again how am I supposed to know how this works until someone tells me? What is the harm in asking for help understanding is the real issue ? Also I managed to get the tanks filled elsewhere after a few hours tanks are fine

Marie was super helpful and friendly! Got my propane tanks filled quickly and didn't even have to go back inside to pay (card read at propane station) - so convenient!

This TSC store in Belfast tends to be the most under staffed, unorganized, chaotic store I have witnessed. I try to go to ANY OTHER tractor supply in any other town. Have had rude management experience when I have been in this store. When I have went to other TSC I see helpful staff throughout the store. The times I go to belfast TSC I rarely see more staff than than at register. I would suggest going to any other town if you want to shop tractor supply.

I visit this Tractor Supply all the time to help pick up feed and materials for a local animal sanctuary. The store is usually well-stocked and the staff is attentive and ready to help answer questions or help you find something you're looking for. Prices are reasonable and there is always ample parking.

This is literally the worst tractor supply in the state ! The manager Aubrey has no idea how to do her job . I’ve had nothing but issues with them. So I make the longer drive to the one in rockland . You’re just better off going to a place that knows what they are doing . I’ve had issues with employees, returns, they never have much in that store somehow. This tractor supply is just a waste of space ..

Never go to this tractor supply. Over the last two years I have gone here for 20 bags of layer feed 4 times. 3 times I did curbside pickup. Once they forgot it. All three times their idea of curbside being ready was taking a ton out back and having me load myself while the employee sat on the lift and watched. Sometimes even smoking. Today I bought my 20 bags at the register. I went out back, and waited 20 min. After they loaded someone that arrived well after me, again they bought out a pallet, apologized, and sat on the lift while I again loaded myself. Bangor, Brewer, Newport, Waterville this is NEVER an issue. I show up they drive out and load the prepared order with a lift in a minute or two. I advise anyone to go to the other stores if you like TSC as much as I do. It will be worth the drive.

The store is always clean and nice, but it's like random half of what a project needs. Went in for garden feed, one option, maybe two. The hardware store across the street has dozens. Usually long checkout lines as well. I was excited for them to open in Belfast, but now I really only stop in for pet food and if Hammond Lumber doesn't have what I need.

Went in to get buy a propane tank and have it filled for my bbq. Asked cashier where to go and she looked at me like a deer in the headlights. Asked someone else and was told to wait out by the propane tank. Waited a few minutes then went back in and found out that they were actually out of empty tanks to sell. Went across the street to a competitor and got what I needed quickly, with great service, and cheaper!

For a corporation, we’ve always loved TSC. While staff is always friendly, unfortunately high turnover, so it is sometimes challenging getting knowledgeable help.Hope to see more Made in American products also wish they used more local farms for feed (and whatever state every TSC is in) for their spring chicks versus those horrible industrial hatcheries. Here, Made in Maine is the way to go to know you’re getting hardy winter tolerant chickens, less susceptible to over breeding issues.
