I’ve been going to Jess since before she took over A Cut Above, and I happily travel over an hour for her services! She’s reasonably priced, and does an amazing job. Jess takes my lifestyle and maintenance levels into account when doing my hair and takes the time to show me how to style my cuts as well. Here are some pics below of work she’s done over the years, and I’ll continue to go to Jess!

Ok. Miracle here. I'm visiting from across the entire country. Took a chance with this hairdresser, Jessica, to color my roots. Nothing short of the best color, blend, separation, I've ever had!!! The trim too. She was so personable, I really enjoyed myself. No joke- GO YO A CUT ABOVE IN BELFAST AND let Jess fix you up.

I started going to A Cut Above after Jess took it over when the original owner retired. Jess is absolutely amazing at what she does. I was someone who wasn't the best about keeping up with color and cuts, until I went to Jess last Fall. She does such a wonderful job I make sure to see her regularly because I want my hair to keep looking its best. I even got my husband to start going to her on a regular basis. She is down to earth, great sense of humor, and extremely talented behind the chair. She always makes sure you walk out feeling confident and loving your hair. Another amazing aspect about Jess and A Cut Above is she's bringing back the old school salon feel, she wants those who walk through the doors to feel comfortable. Even today, she had two of us for colors and we all chatted, laughed, and shared stories as we processed and got washed. She cares for the community and gets involved. She has already done multiple fund raising functions to support causes around the community. This is her passion and you can 100% tell she truly loves what she does. I never leave there disappointed and find I keep looking in the mirror at how wonderful my hair looks. I highly recommend A Cut Above for your hair needs!

Jess did amazing! I have never had a stylist listen to my needs and explain the color process like she did. I also loved that she uses a more natural line than Aveda with much less scent and my hair feels beautiful. They make their own natural scrubs and carry an amazing line of science based natural skincare for facials or pedicures. The best part, their prices are so reasonable for what they offer. Myself, my daughter, mother, grandmother, friends etc etc all go here and I for one am not stopping anytime soon. Katy treats everyone so well and like they're family, you couldnt get better service at any price.Book your appointment with Katy and look your best, if she can make my crew look good she's less a stylist And more a wizard.Honestly the whole staff is wonderful, you can't go wrong regardless of who you get.

They were amazing. My teenager won a hair styling and make up session for a ball. They decided to have the session for the Pride parade instead. The stylist had complete design control and did an amazing job. Josh was so pleased with what was done. People at the festival kept commenting on the make up. Each time they did we let them know where it was done. Definitely will be back.
