I work at the plant in hampden, and i am going to let you in on a dirty little secret: currently, we sort out your packages by SIZE, not by priority or standard ( now called ground advantage). So it does'nt matter what you paid to ship it, it all gets mixed together as small, medium, or large. So why would anyone pay for more expensive priority service? Please dont take your frustration about this out on the clerks there- they are unaware of this just like you.If we actually start sorting packages correctly, i will delete this review.

Package delivery services falsified package delivery time. Second time this has happened. Just because I'm just outside town limits in a rural town does not give employee the right to lie about deliveries. Our mailboxes are on the opposite side of a very busy road from our houses making checking them especially after dark dangerous. If we leave our items in the mail boxes when it's morning and they get stolen it's on us. So deliver and don't lie or don't deliver and don't claim you have. It wouldn't be check mail risk dying or losing you packages.

Usually have no issues at this particular facility in person, but the past few days have been an exception. I recently received a notice that my mail was being held due to the front steps of my home being too dangerous to traverse in order to reach my mail receptacle, and that my mail would be held for 30 days at the post office, or until the repair was made (which is all well and good). With that said, I have gone to attempt pick up my mail (11 days worth) for three days now, and each of those three days, they stated that my mail was not at the post office, and that it could possibly be held on the vehicle(?). The employee I spoke to stated that he would reach out and see that my mail was available for pick up the next day.Today, I go to the post office, and the same individual happened to be working alone in the entire facility, and he was visibly distraught. He made his frustration known that no one else showed up for work there, and personally I don’t blame the guy. His customer service and speed of work was impeccable, and he was very apologetic to me in informing me that my mail was still not there, but should be by 11:30 today. My issue is not with the clerk, who was doing a wonderful job alone, but with this particular facility for being obviously understaffed and seemingly operationally disorganized. I hope that the employee that served me (Nate) gets some good reinforcements to work with, and soon.

Only giving one star because I have to. Refuse to deliver my mail to regulation mailbox for 2 weeks. Missing medication Bill's and my child's birthday presents. No notice of end of service. No notifcation your packages are being held, or where to pick up. No phone calls nothing. No ice in te he drive clear walkway. And yes mailbox is clear. Got verbal confirmation from deliver person that was accessible after last storm. Worst service ever. Guess their creed is a joke.

I am so disapointed in the mail service. Any packages I get in the mail my carrier keeps putting boxes on top of our mail box or shoved my packages in my box so tight I can't even get my fingers in the box to pull it out. My driveway is not long . make the effort to deliver the packages correctly to residents in stead of being lazy and having someone else potentially steal them.

Was visiting Bangor from Canada for a concert and had a parcel with me for a customer in Alabama I planned to ship when I returned home. Customer in Alabama informed me they were rushed.Being unfamiliar with the US postal service shipping options I pulled into this post office for some help. Staff was great! Quite helpful laying out options and prices. Even made the effort to welcome me to the United States.

I called sometime ago about my mail carrier he doesn't care about his job. As long as he gets paid he puts the wrong mail in our boxes and takes until 8:30 or 9:00 pm to deliver mail,I was waiting for a package that was to be delivered today. If he doesn't like his job then quit.

I wish I could give 0 star. Haven’t received mail in 6 days contacted them was told that my steps were not accessible. Changed that and made them accessible. I’ve been waiting probably a week now for about $200 worth of packages and my W2’s no one has resolved this issue for me.

It drives me nuts that when I have a box they harass you with letters in your box for a month before ur box payment is due! I get like a week before but a month but other then that it’s okay wish their was more parking!

Your mailmen are lazy. Whenever there’s a little bit of snow on the ground they “can’t access delivery location” my driveway and walkways are shoveled. If you don’t want to go outside in the snow then don’t be a mailmen.
