Great bed, terrible after sales service. Service call for kinked hose impacting left side of bed. Store unhelpful but national customer service was great and sent a new hose and scheduled a service call. Took 30 days for service call. Classic service call mistakes: technicians did not come with masks, we provided; one technician reeked of cologne, we had to air out the house for 20 minutes (in winter!) after they left; completed the repair but never tested, we did after they left; left a huge coil of hose on the floor on the right side, didn’t attach back to the frame; supervisor complained about having to be on the call on a snowy Friday. Basically other than they replaced the hose the entire experience was very disappointing. If your going to spend a crazy amount on a bed the after sale service should be MUCH more professional.Update. After talking to a very knowledgeable person at sleepnumber customer service she realized they sent the wrong part which the contract techs installed even though they knew it was not correct. Actual sleep number tech came three weeks later and he and his assistant correctly replaced all the hoses and added clips to keep the hoses correctly attached to the frame. All done in 15 minutes. Very pleased with the real techs and their commitment to the brand.

I would give this company a zero if I could. People being denied payment options on this expensive bed because of credit profile. Also these beds are outrageous in cost when its a bed to sleep in at night. It's supposed to help people manage Pain and sleep now it's like if your not good enough you don't deserve that service. Got an email that they have an alternative way for approving you and went through the process and was again denied. Like seriously I don't even get why it's so hard to be approved for a flipping bed.

NEVER BUY A SLEEP NUMBER BED!!! When ours was installed they put the leg on the air hose and broke it. A month later of sleep on the base of the bed the technician came and "fixed it". He would not tell me what he fixed or even what was wrong. The bed is now worse than ever. My husband is sleep in a hammock and I am sleeping on a couch while we wait for the bed to be taken back so we can look at other options. I read other reviews and I'm glad this happened early because apparently 3 years in at the latest is when the costly repairs start on this bed!

Sarah was so helpful. I went in first day tried different beds she recommended, and I received a quote. The next day I checked out another local mattress store and still was not sure. This was a big purchase you spend 1/3 of your life in bed. Sarah went even further in explaining her product. Excellent customer service. I made the purchase, now can not wait to have it delivered.

Horrible customer service. Don’t call you to tell you delivery is pushed out 7 weeks , I had to call 4 times day of delivery and still couldn’t get answers only excuses. Not worth the money at all.

Amazing experience! Woke up tired and sore and said enough! Sarah helped us as soon as we walked through the door. Great customer service and products! Can't wait to get some good sleep and not have to buy another mattress in 5 years! Highly recommend the Bangor Maine store!

The sales staff and manager could not have been more helpful while I was in the store to purchase their "top of the line" bed. However, as soon as the delivery went sideways, the store management or corporate could not have given me a bigger FU! Refused to communicate to me the district manager's contact information nor attempted to resolve the issue. All because the salesperson put in the incorrect delivery address. Go somewhere else to make your purchase and avoid this nightmare of a retail operation.

Was told a mattress was $899 with free shipping while lying in it. I was sold. However, at the register, I was notified shipping would not, in fact, be free (shipping was $200 - free shipping would only happen if I bought a bed foundation). After looking at the final receipt, the mattress itself was actually $999 ($100 more than advertised). After pointing this out (after the payment went through), I was told advertising the mattress as $899 was an “honest mistake”. Altogether, $900+tax advertised while trying it out did NOT match the $1200+tax at the register - a 30% surprise. The bed felt nice in the store but beware - don’t get hooked on a bed until you see a final receipt! Even better - just order online so you know exactly what you’re getting and how much it’ll cost you.
