For hundreds of dollars they'll replace your windshield and do the absolute minimum to readhere any sensors or devices that are supposed to be attached to your windshields interior. They scraped off old adhesive and jammed it back against the windshield instead of doing it properly with new adhesive. The sensor fell on my girlfriend while she was merging onto the highway causing confusion and panic before nearly causing a fatal crash. Safelite almost killed my girlfriend out of sheer laziness and general lack of interest in doing their job properly. Let's see how they justify not providing 50 cents worth of new adhesive on a 500 dollar windshield replacement. Had to tuck the sensor behind the rear view mirror until I could adhere it properly so no one dies in an unnecessary crash born out of poorly outlined procedures at safelite. I'd say I expect a prompt reply from management but I have already experienced how low their bar for acceptable service is. They could have at least told me they didn't intend to do an acceptable job and that I would have to do their work for them, and properly attach the sensor myself, if I expected it to be done correctly. Instead they just did the quickest version they could to clock out sooner. Picture attached shows the adhesive they scraped off the old windshield, which was covered with grit and grime on top of the adhesive, obviously indicating the necessity of replacement, and then jammed and folded onto the new one because their customers lives aren't worth 50 cents of adhesive to them.Response: No thank you using "Safe"lite almost got multiple people killed once, why on earth would I trust you again just because you apologised for the experience you are responsible for creating? Avoid this business at all costs, it is a "not my job" working atmosphere.

We were travelling from Canada to catch a flight out of Bangor and got a chip in our windshield on the way. They took us right in and repaired it in no time. Very friendly service!

Ease of scheduling appointment online. Friendly employees that got straight to work. I was in and out in no time at all. And so far so good as far as the work done. I would highly recommend Safelite in Bangor.

Worst place EVER!! No direct line to the shop, no home or on location services for window repair, terrible customer service. The "fixed" a crack which not only looked horrible, but was not effective. They admitted to a bad tech but then the company refused to fix the mistake! This place is a joke. They were once great company but now are an AWEFUL place for services. Dont waste your time and efforts no matter how simple it sounds! Use any glass repair shop other than this one.Post owner comment...it would be awesome if I could have spoke with someone in the shop to have a conversation. But your automated system hung up on me twice and once you customer service rep hung up on me as I was asking a question.

A rock hit the windshield of our rental car. Had an appointment and got there early and they fit us in. Took maybe 30 minutes for them to repair the crack.

I was supposed to get my windshield fixed the 25th of September but they called me in the morning stating that the windshield they received was damaged. That's fine accidents happen but I wasn't going to accept a scratched windshield so we rescheduled for the following Friday. On Friday I get another call saying that they ordered the wrong windshield and that I had had many options of windshields to choose from and they chose wrong. That's not an acceptable excuse. I called another glass repair shop who will be fixing my windshield and they informed me that with my Vin number there is only one windshield for my vehicle not multiple. Safelite also never informed me in order to recalibrate the windshield the vehicle needs to be almost empty of items and the gas tank filled to a certain amount. I'm sure I would have ended up with more problems than just the wrong windshield had I stuck with Safelite. Can definitely say I won't be using them in the future.

I DIDN'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT BUT THE MAN AT SAFELITE SAID HE CAN GET ME IN FOR THEM TO FIX MY WINDSHIELD WHERE I TOOK A STONE FROM THE ROAD. EVERYBODY WAS EASY TO SPEAK WITH AND THEY ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTION. AND THEY COMPLETED THEIR WORK VERY FAST AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. VERY HAPPY WITH THEM ALL. A+++++++++++++++++++++++

Bangor, MaineHad to have passenger door window replaced. Technicians broke moisture shield inside the door and also did damage to the door lock. Another technician tried to "fix" it at a subsequent appointment, but couldn't. Technician told us that if they caused any damage, Safelite will reimburse us.Took the car to our dealership, door lock was covered by our warranty, but not the moisture shield in the door.Contacted Safelite, sent picture of damage and the invoice, got an email back within 20 min from the manager, asking if we were ok with a gift card .... Excuse me? No, I need the money to put back on my cc ... So I responded that I need a cash equivalent, not a giftcard ... ever since then, cricketsSent a follow up email to see if I can talk to someone else who might be in charge, but crickets ...Worst customer service ever, oh, and the technician on one of the appointments didn't show up, said he waited 30 min, yeah right!!! We were home during that time, going outside frequently to look for their van, nothing!Unreal!!! If you have another company, do NOT use them!!! Not worth the headache, and you get stuck paying damage THEY cause out of your own pocket!!!!

Did not mention that they did not have the tool to calibrate the eyesight on 2023 Subaru until after they had changed the windshield. And that we would need to go to the dealer to have it calibrated. Not impressed. They should have told us this when the appointment was scheduled, so we could have planned accordingly.

It took me about 3-4 minutes to make my appointment online, and the very nice lady in the office called me to confirm the day before. I waited about 20 minutes or so for the install to be done, after being offered bottled water, coffee, hot chocolate, and some snacks. The guy who replaced my windshield was professional, and did a quality job on my glass install! He moved my rear view mirror, inspection sticker, oil change sticker, and dashcam to the new glass. It's all looking wonderful, and just right! This was my 2nd time coming here, and I'll be back again! Thanks Bangor Safelite, you guys are awesome!
