“In the good old days the local store was a community cornerstone who could be trusted to know all about their customers and their needs. When you shop at this Hannaford for awhile, you can almost expect to be recognized before you even enter the doorway. The quality of the groceries in this market now rank among the best in Bangor, with excellent produce and fruits, fresh meats, a nifty delicatessen section and everything you might expect from a good grocer. The shopping center that the store is located in has easy, direct access from the highway or other parts of town. Should you enter the shopping center from the south entrance on Broadway that is across from the donut shop watch out for the super-duper pothole in the middle of the road!”
“My family travels an hour one way just to shop at the Commissary on base. The staff is so friendly and helpful, it makes it worth the trip! The Commissary is always well-stocked and has needed and interesting products. Thank you for making every grocery shopping experience excellent!”
“Checked it out for the first time since I moved here and it’s a really cool spot! It’s got your usual assortment of groceries as well as fresh options at their deli :) grabbed one of their pancake breakfast sandwiches when I stopped by and it was just like the McGriddles from McDonald’s. Over all, super cool, clean store and great staff. Will be in there all the time!”

I am forever roaming the isles trying to find where things are. Maybe it’s just me, but it doesn’t feel like the isles are laid out in the most logical fashion, but don’t ask me what the most logical fashion is lol. It always just seems off.The workers are always friendly, busy, and the store is always clean.Mornings offer a less crowded shopping experience.”

“Yeah you just try to thank you for the closet main red hot dogs. Turned out this was their warehouse where they actually make the hot dogs and then ship them out! Called ahead of time for a tray of red snapper hot dogs, and the guy was nice enough to actually take us right inside in their cooler area to show us the freshly made ones that were hanging. And then gave us a pack of the Red Hots on the house :) Really sweet people. Hot dogs were delicious too. Just pan-fried them and they had good flavor!”

“The guy named Owen at customer service is fantastic. so so friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Owen, and definitely deserves a raise for the stellar customer service. He was explaining reward points to me and gift cards, and was so so helpful. When he didn't know the answer, he put me on hold to go ask someone who did. Spoke with Owen for 14 minutes. Fantastic guy. I learned a lot about BJs gift cards. I learned you can buy one that is less than $25 if you visit the club (online only allows $25 and up gift cards). I also learned about promotional sales. Super helpful, and great experience. Highly recommend this BJ's location based on its customer service alone!!!”

“I love this little store. It's locally owned and they are very kind people. Every time I go in I am greeted with smiles. And asked how I'm doing they will open the door for me if my arms are full I've even seen staff go outside and pump a customer's gas for them for them they are genuinely good people and they have great food with a small dine in area”
