I have an older John Deere and Steve & the rest of the service department have taken great care of it whenever we've had an issue. They are always willing to take the time to explain things to me without 'taking down' to me. I'm very pleased with my experience there.

I recently inquired about servicing my 1025R that I purchased in a private sale. I’ve never owned a tractor before but after moving up to Maine I figured why not! I was blown away after talking with the service manager, a friend of mine up here gave me his business card and told me to call his cell. I asked about maintenance intervals, proper operations for the attachments it came with and if the machine was capable of doing what I want it to do. Very knowledgeable and every question I asked he had an answer for! The whole experience was very professional and I will be taking my machine there for service going forward. Thank you for the insight!

After what was beyond a nightmare experience with the Ossipee NH location, all the staff at the Auburn location were amazing, most notably Pat the service manager. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He is the sole reason that i would consider doing business with United Ag again.

Consider this luck to get 2 stars from me Ag & Turf. June 2023 I bought a z530m from Ed. By the end of that month it was smoking so I brought it in to be checked out. The woman, who no longer works at service there, told me it would most likely be 3-4 days because they had others in front of me. She must have meant weeks because I had to borrow my in-laws mower to do my mowing for almost a month. I asked them to figure out the smoking and even though the mower was shy of 25 hours (I mow a lot of my large yard that is constantly growing) I asked for a oil change. She said everything was done and that I was all set. Within a week the smoke started again. I ended up getting it fixed elsewhere. Come this spring I was shy of 75 hours on the machine so I decided to just change my own oil. Sludge came out. To me, that was an indication that the oil had not been changed when I asked it to be. It would be one thing to be black, but sludge like means it went over the 50 hour threshold. I found out by calling John Deere and giving them my info and mowing number that it had no recorded services done. So, Ag & Turf of Auburn never had it through the shop or they never recorded anything. Hard to tell. Fast forward to June 2024, I decided to give them another chance since I found out they had tons of new people in there. I went back to the same salesman (my mistake), Ed, to talk about a z320r with a bagging system that I would use for more around the house. I was told they had the bagging system(the did have to order a new one overnighted because of missing parts, not an issue) and the mower was on a truck due on the 9th of July. This was mid June that I saw Ed. He said I could check before the 4th because sometimes they come early, but with the holiday it may not be the case. So, I had a mower waiting for me on that delivery truck. I called on July 3rd just to check, just in case. A nice guy named Steve told me they had already all been sold. I was pretty upset but he got me with someone to help and they ended up pulling one from another store. This is where your 2 stars are coming from. Norman Jordan. He had none of my paperwork that I had previously filled out, had the mower with the bagger ready to go and had no idea what lender was being used. I had not even heard from Ed in that months time. Norm got it all done and worked hard to get it done. He earn you a star. I got it on Tuesday, July 16. On Friday, July 19, I start having issues. The left wheel locks up and I skid across the yard. No power up a 20° slope? The service guys went outside with me and tested the mower. They said something was wrong and that they were not sure if it was hydros or something else. They were puzzled by this. The machine had roughly an hour on it. I gave them the machine I had for a couple days that stumped the service department. They were willing to work with me and cared, so they earn you a second star. Ed told me Friday the store manager was back in Monday and we could reverse the sale through her when I asked about it. I came in Monday and he had not started paperwork to reverse it and the manager was not in. I found out the sale was not even finalized by Norm. Not Ed, Norm. I let Ed know how unprofessional everything that has happened with my experiences has been over the last year. He looked shocked and nervous. I kept my cool but probably did not have a fun tone due to being upset and rightfully so. Some other side stuff. I tried calling multiple times on different occasions. 9/10 I got the automated person asking me to press one to go back into the call queue to give them another chance to answer. It never helped. Or I would press 3 for sales and get service or parts. Which can happen, but when I asked if the person who I was looking for was free they always were so it made everything more confusing for me. I love JD, but I need to find a new place to shop from now on, I gave 2 chances and this was unacceptable.

My 1070 JohnDeer damaged it's clutch in the middle of a big job,I called the Auburn Maine United Ag & Turf . They told me to get it there 80 miles away and I did they got to it as soon as it got to them 3 days later, new clutch and pressure plate. Then they delivered back to me .That is amazing. You're the best.

Norman Jordan is amazing! By far one of the smoothest deals I have made! Norman was extremely friendly and went above and beyond! He found the machine I wanted, although it was 3.5 hours away Norman had it delivered within a day!
