We started looking for furniture in oct 2020, we were closing on our new house in jan. I really prefer to see what im buying, sit on it, lay on it, open the drawers as opposed to buying on line. I found our bedroom set at ashleys, it consisted of a king bed with storage, 2 nightstands, dresser and chest. I immediately fell in love, it was excatly what I was looking for!! And because it was so perfect i didnt mind the high price, i was replacing our bedroom set that we had for 22 years. It was 5500 plus tax and delivery fee. When I went to burns and newell, my first time there I was greeted by tim and not in a pushy way at all, in a way im here if ya need me. I noticed they carried ashley products so i showed him a pic of the set I wanted and he said he could order it and give me a good deal. My jaw hit the floor when he quoted more than HALF off ashleys price!!! And NO delivery fee AND no tax as a courtesy because my husband is a vet! I was in shock at the markup on furniture, the honesty of the salesman standing in front of me!! He said if I find any furniture anywhere, he would see if he could order it and give me a better deal. Well I went on the hunt, I found the couch i wanted at burneys for 999.00 and we needed 2 of them, Tim got them for 390 each!!! We ordered all our furniture through him. So I went in yesterday to set up delivery, i needed it on sat and they dont deliver on sat but he said he would make it work even if he had to come in himself. Our bedroom set wont be in till april??? but this is not his fault, its due to covid. I know things happen that are out of our control, i honestly dont mind waiting because i love it so much and know that we will have it for many years to come. But tim insisted that when they deliver our other furniture on sat that he will also bring a frame so our mattress are not on the floor. AND when I went in yesterday they are having a huge sale this month because they have been in business 50 years, so he took off even more money from what i was gonna originally pay. I am in no way knocking ashleys or burneys but i have never recieved this kind of service anywhere!! So i suggest you go everywhere, look online, find what you want then take it to tim and i guarantee if he can get it, it will be way cheaper!!!”

“Store was easy to get to just off the Monroe Mall service road, so we didn't have to drive through mall parking and walk into the mall to get to the store. Bradley (sleep expert) was cordial and helpful. No other customers were in the store at the time . We were able to try out the different bed styles and Bradley helped us make our choice by answering our questions succinctly. One frustration with Sleep Number policy (and others, like diamonds for example) of putting an outlandishly high price on their "menu" and then giving customer "drastic" reduction of 20,30 and even 50%. Based on my previous purchase of sleep number queen sized beds I had an idea of a price and with all the discounts, etc. we arrived close to that number. We agreed to the purchase, Bradley took care of our payment, set up the app on my and my wife's phone and aggranged the delivery date (one week from purchase). The two men that delivered the bed notified us when they left the shop (1.5 hours out) and the link included in their text enabled me to see their progress so that I was out front showing them where to park as they drove up. They were expeditious with removing our old California King and box springs, installed the new I8 split king and took time showing me how to use the app and the remote. When they left the room was pristine with only a new bed where the old one was. Good experience all the way. Other than the ridiculous high menu price and comment, "oh you won't pay near that much", this was a completely satisfying buying experience.”
