McDonald's on St. Charles Avenue .St Charles and Louisiana Avenue drive-through May 2 ,2024 horrible. Whoever was working drive-thru don't even need to be working, not in the bank and that slow. 20 minutes drive-thru lane two lanes horrible will never go there again.

I wish I can give this bank a 0.. first and foremost, I’ve had Whitney bank once in the past and had an horrible experience.. I closed my account, due to the area that I live in now Hancock Whitney is convenient & I use another bank for my business account. Whitney bank is RACIST, point blank & everyone who I’ve encountered including my Caucasian co worker even says it but of course she hasn’t experienced it but know a lot of AFRICAN AMERICANS that have. I deposited my work check into the account which was told it was going to be available the next day.. ok, the next day comes I get an email stating they’re putting a HOLD on my check because the account is new & that check amount has to be verified. OK COOL, understandable. The hold was only for 3 days, which was Friday the same week. Here comes Friday, no check!! I go to the bank and talk to a bank teller & hes black but Uncle Tom black. If you know what I mean…… treated me as if I was a thief, refused to cash my check because it’s FRAUDULENT. Mind you I work for a big company that’s world wide. I literally had to call corporate, the payroll department & the company who print my jobs check and get them to verify employment. Mind you, I get paid from this employer every 2 weeks, once all of these people contacted Whitney on my behalf, they still proceeded to call me & say to email proof of 3 recent check stubs for last confirmation. I really should sue this bank! They put me through all of this because I am a young, black woman who’s making more than what they’re making working for this bank obviously! I took all of my money out of this account & as sooon as I get time to go down there I will be shutting this account. I will never support this bank again! Discrimination at its finest & tomorrow I will be contacting others to file discrimination!

The representative in the drive through window is having an attitude with me because he cannot understand that I want change back from my check in the form of ones, fives, and tens. So he yells at me to just send it up the pipeline because "he cannot understand because he cannot give me hundres in loose change".

The managers are sloppy and unprofessional. They are messy, they told me that it was one of their employees last day so they were treating her very rude. I closed both of my accounts at this location and will never do business with them. I had an account for my son, I only put deposits in when I get bonus checks, well they deactivated my account and told me they were doing to transfer the money to the state because I hadn’t made any transactions in 3 months. I don’t recommend them, I won’t do business with them again, and I don’t trust people who openly disparage others the way they did. The women were old white women talking about a young black girl whose last day was some time during the week of 5/20/19. A very bad look when they are all overweight and sloppy, dont cast stones when you live in a glass house. I hope HR gets a hold of this review too. I’d love to talk to them.

I MOVED MY RELATIONSHIP TO IBERIA AFTER 31 YEARS I was happy to finally get this branch uptown, the only location between Poydras and Jefferson. But it is a shoddy, low cost dive. My ATM card expired because I had not had a chance to go into a local branch and change my address. I tried several times however the wait was too long. This is because Hancock has slashed personnel at branches. On Thursday April 18th, 2019 I waited 15 minutes for a rep and was told that I should come back after 3 PM. The rep had 3 people waiting in front of me. I was not allowed to go to a teller to change my address. This was the 4th Hancock branch in a week to turn me away. I then crossed the street to the palatial Iberia and opened an account immediately with an attentive banking officer.

This bank does not care about anyone but themselves. The security guard is extremely rude and the Administrator are self-center and don't care about costumer service. The teller are nice. Go with any other Bank.

In general, Whitney Bank is a really great place to do your banking. Their employees are extremely helpful and friendly. The same applies to this branch. The reason it didn't get 5 stars is it's almost impossible to get to the drive-thru in your vehicle due to construction. To actually enter the bank is impossible, unless you park illegally.

Janell handled an issue I was having with an unauthorized ACH withdrawl beautifully. She took care of it proffessionally, expediently and made sure back office handled it as well. All on a tight time frame on a Friday. She is customer service. She absolutely does care! Thanks Janell!
