I've been a painter/contractor for 17 years: Helm is the greatest paint store in probably the world. They: Know everything about every high-quality product they carry, can match a color like some kinda color ninjas, and treat everyone with kindness and respect.I just take it for granted that I'm going to be happy and get my job done when I walk out of there. AND they now have text ordering!10 stars y'all.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD ON FILE WITH THEM. I still can't figure out exactly how this happened but they had my card from an exterior paint job in March, and somehow, my contractor bought 225 dollars of supplies on my Amex this morning because the job was tied to him. I spoke with my contractor and he told me it was a mistake on the part of the store, and the store then confirmed. This is completely unacceptable. Speaking to the quality of the paint, it seems wonderful, and the people who work in this store are very accommodating. Just a giant security risk so let this serve as a heads up. Money's too tight to be giving it away.

Have bought paint here for occasionally for 15 years. The mixing desk is happy to answer amateur questions, and color experts have a very good eye. Always a pleasant trip

The only place I go for paint. Not just paint but great advice and they treat all my projects very well. Good paint costs money but it means you're going to be done in half the time.

I expected better service. From everything I have heard I was expecting knowledgeable friendly staff. Not helpful or friendly. Their decorator had awful color suggestions for me and was not at all eager to help me find what I wanted. I don’t expect to return even though this is where my contractor preferred I buy my paint. I shouldnt have better service at Lowes. They are not hard to beat. Maybe it was an off day, but I am incredibly unhappy.
