William faulkner lived here for a year. Here was one he wrote his first novel and New orleans sketches. This is very small with a great variety of books. I wish they had some books in Spanish.

Love this store! The owner was so kind and had amazing recommendations! My partner bought a book and I will definitely be getting one next time I’m in town!!! We visited lots of bookstores in the area and this one won for me!

What a quaint bookstore in the French Quarter! Located inside historic home, it carries a wide selection of books for being in one main room and a hallway. It’s tight so the owner doesn’t let many people in at once.

Loved this shop! Didn’t buy anything because everything is new or rare copies! Come in here or call if looking for something specific. Pretty neat history to this place, it was the home of William Faulkner during his time writing his New Orleans novels! Easy to miss shop, tucked in Pirate’s alley. 4/5 for the high prices

This is an incredible gem of a bookstore tucked away. They have a really good selection of books for such a small establishment, and the woman who works there is so helpful and funny and kind.

It’s a cute store, but the owner is a bigot. After purchasing a book, she tells me on the way out “and don’t worry, I didn’t charge you extra for the limp.” Stay clear if you’re not white and straight.

Small and quaint book shop located near Jackson square that's a tucked away and is a true hidden gem! Plus great service, open daily from 10am-5pm There was a sign that said only 6 people can be inside at a time, probably because of how small the space is. No food or drink is allowed too. The selection of books is fantastic, and the store is well organized too! The price for the quality books is fair as well. It's very very quiet when you walk around, and it's a breath of fresh air!
