Went to the salon, the young lady was doing 3 clients at one time, I didn't get the color I ask for.Never will go to that salon again. Worse service ever. I still gave her a tip. God knows.

Asked for haircut. First of all it was like interrupted coworkers gossiping when I walked up to the counter. I waited for a couple minutes before being acknowledged. Then they told me they was closing. But the web site said they had another hour to go.. so don't know if I was being told the truth or not. I ended go to a more friendly and caring place. So I will not be back to Jcpennys salon.

Horrible business. They post prices online & you go for appointment just to be told it will actually be almost 4X that amount. Terrible customer service, don't waste your time going here.

I went in during the special for 1 process color $50. The salon was out of the colors I wanted (Red Violet (Matrix)). Anyway, LaSheria informed me and offered to reschedule my appoint when the color arrived. She also showed me the book again and allowed me to choose if I wanted to reschedule or pick another color. Well, the salon manager called her to the back. (This made me feel like my stylist was in trouble.). Well, the manager comes back out and tell another stylist "you just can't help some people" and continued to mumble to the other stylist while looking at me. She was very unprofessional. She then came over and told me the SAME Info Lasheria told me, offering to reschedule my appt. I informed her tha LaSheria had already informed me. However, they were out of almost ALL of the red violet tones. Anyway, I chose another color. LaSheria was very professional and accommodating. LaSheria is a perfectionist. She made sure my hair was styled perfectly. I am very pleased with my hair. However, the manager she micromanages the stylist. Other than that, I didn't see her do much.
I will be back to see LaSheria!

From the looks of it JC Penney is on its last leg and will soon go the way of the dinosaur. Shopping at Penney's today reminded me why I spend the majority of my money at Amazon and other online retailers because customer service is a dying skill. This is really a shame because I would prefer my dollars to go to our local economy and keep people employed but it seems more and more that they seem to forget they need people to shop there. Employees spend more time in conversations than helping customers and seem irritated that you are bothering them with your questions. After this trip I more than likely will not return due to the truly poor service. I wish I could excuse it as just an employee having a bad day but when it's every employee you interact with on your visit you realize it's more of a systemic issue. Thanks JC Penney...it was fun while it lasted.

I saw a promotion for $50 color service on the page of one of the stylist (LaSheria) at Pecanland Mall. I went in for last minute appointment after removing my braids. She was sure to make sure I found a color I liked. She offered to reschedule when the color I wanted was out of stock. The manager seemed to micromanage the stylist. She also said some rude things about my stylist to another stylist. My stylist was patient and accommodating. She used some GREAT products on my hair. They smelled AMAZING!! My hair (naturally curly) came out so silky and straight. I Love it and my Husband did as well. I will be back to see LaSheria! She does an awesome job of promoting herself and the salon!

This only pertains to Mrs Maryanna only. She gets 0 stars. She is so unprofessional and I think needs to be fired. Now kept in mind we went to have hair done for school, they started back Thursday the 9th, cause they can't have any color but natural colors. This is my youngest daughters freshman year and my oldest junior year in highschool. Brought them in to have hair highlighted and one was going to have to have some blue strip out that was already in her hair. She did not strip the color out before she done the bleaching process so now my daughter has ment green hair plus some crappy ass highlights that does not go to the roots. My other daughters head was so hot after only 5 mins of processing that she had to wash it off. The stuff was about a half of an inch thick on her head so her scalp could not get air to help cool it down. And she wanted to tell me that my daughter had an allergic reaction to it. REALLY, come on now. Give me a break. And to top it off she charged me $145.00 I want I refund.
