This market is clean and well organized. It has a plethora of foods from around the world that you can't find anywhere else. I was really impressed to see the selection of African and Indian foods. It is a lot of fun to look around and pick up some new things to try. The prices are extremely reasonable and on many items much lower than in a regular supermarket.

I was running errands nearby and decided it was time for me to stop in. And wow! they have a bit of everything. If you need a special ingredient for your dishes, they might just have it. They had a special sections for a variety of cuisines, middle eastern (I bought pomegranate molasses), Indian (bought tea), English (IDK I bought lime marmalade), and whatever else you might be looking for. In stores like this I have to convince myself that I do not need a 25 pound bag of rice just because the price is so good. The produce and frozen food sections looked interesting but I decided that I had too many errands to leave those items in the car. I did get some crystallized ginger that was really yummy. The grocery carts/baskets are huge so if you decide you need a new dishes or pots to cook with then they'll fit. Staff was friendly and checking out was easy.

Lowest prices for cigarettes and liquor that I have seen in Jefferson Parish. I also buy foods from India, and Hispanic foods like tostones, pupusas, arepas, plantain chips etc. as they have a very large selection and good prices. Great selection of foods from middle east, Asian, Caribbean countries, middle Eastern foods, Turkish foods, a very extensive selection of spices which are located in different aisles depending on the countries where they are from. The amount of different foods from different countries is too extensive to list. They have a large assortment of Incense and cosmetics.The staff is very friendly and helpful. I shop there at least 5 to 7 times a month for the last 5 years when I first discovered them. It's always a pleasure to shop there.

Great place for spices and ethnic food. The lady was very helpful in guiding me to a great chai recipe for my restaurant. She’s so helpful that whenever I need spices I drive all the way out here to see her and patronize her business.Raj is also very helpful and knowledgeable. Well worth the trip for authentic ethnic items!best !
