Thank you to Jason for installing a battery into my car. Only took him about 10 minutes from purchase to installation. He was super nice and helpful!

Just went to Advance in Mandeville, Florida St. Don’t shop this store! I had a 15% online coupon which will only apply to an online purchase. I stood there with the guy and tried to order the items online so I could get the discount. The website was not working and would not allow me to add the items to my cart. He stood there and offered no assistance and after I repeatedly informed him it wasn’t working he said oh well sorry. I then said I was going across the street to Autozone to get them and he again said ok sorry.Apparently they don’t need my business anymore.Follow up to the response of the owner. The whole point was they had the wiper blades in stock in the store I had them on the counter. I could not get the discount unless I ordered them online. I tried to order them online in the store so I could take them with me but the website will not allow me. The guy behind the counter did not care did not bother to offer assistance did not bother to call customer service. That is my complaint. Spin it how you want that’s exactly what happened and the guy cared less. So basically I could not purchase the items that were on the counter right in front of me whether online or not.

I had order a cai from this store online. Once I got there they had it ready for me I figured I could install it really quick outside which I did end up doing. While I was doing this it’s was night time and the manager actually came out and brought me a light which I thought was really generous help.

I will NEVER EVER go back here again. I'm stuck with a car (2017 Nissan Altima) that has a dead battery, and a nearly $250 Die Hard battery (new) on the floorboard of my backseat all because it couldn't be installed because, "not having the right tools". WHAT??!!? Um, doesn't it only take a 10 mm wrench? ? Now im left with the daunting task of finding somewhere else to install the battery plus calling out AAA yet again to jump my car to get it there. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars because the guy that helped me behind the counter was nice and courteous. But the young guy who was suppose to install my battery, not so much.

I have a 2017 Nissan Altima (4 cylinder engine) and the battery died. Expected really since the life expectancy of an stock Nissan battery is 3-5 yrs and the car was nearing the 5 yrs old mark. I specifically chose Advance Auto Parts because they offer free battery installation with purchase of a battery. Perfect, I thought. I mean, I have a general idea how to install a battery but never actually done so. So to say the least I wasn't too confident to put one in myself. I purchased the Die Hard Platium for my car. The website said "Exact Fit" for my car - great!! I called AAA out, had my car jumped, and drove the 3.4 miles to the store. Bought the battery and informed them I would need it installed. The old man (sorry, I didn't get his name) was nice and courteous. But what in the middle of something else and so asked this young to go out and install the battery for me. This young guy demeanor was aloof and kinda acted like installing a car battery was the last thing he felt like doing. We got out to my car, I propped open the hood and he glazed at my old battery and quipped, "I can't install this because I don't have the right tools." Um...wait, what??! Now as I said before, I only know a little about about cars and batteries. But I'm by no means a 'girly girl' who's dumbfounded and afraid of a little car grease on her freshly done manicured nails. I don't know much but I do know it only takes a 10 mm wrench to undo four bolts on the battery bracket and to loosen the battery clamps. Plus, let's be frank here - we're at a auto part store that sell parts, tools, and auto accessories for 99.9% of vehicles on the road. You're gonna tell me there's no 10 mm wrench at your disposal?? Well before I could say something to him about, he then done went and plopped the new battery - a $200 battery - onto my backseat. How rude. Yeah...I've always wanted a car with battery acid on the backseat, thank you very much. Now my car is sitting as a dead duck in the driveway again. With a brand new battery just chillin' on the backseat. While I'm making calls to every repair shop seeing who can install my new battery (a daunting task I must add if it's not a battery you purchased from them)and for a reasonable price. Plus not to mention I will need to call AAA out AGAIN to give me a jump so I can get the car to whoever and wherever to get Advance Auto Parts battery put in. Granted, I could've just had some lazy employee that pulled a douche move on me because the guy behind the counter was actually pretty helpful. But this whole experience has me ticked off, so therefore I don't wanna go back there again.
